BRITNEY Spears will go to court next week in a bid to win back control of her life again.

The Oops I Did It Again singer's life has been legally ruled by her father Jamie for the last two years after she went into meltdown.

This week Britney, 28, will discuss her mental welfare with a judge at the LA Superior Court. Her lawyers and Jamie, a chef, hope the mum-of- two will be independent by the end of the year.

The private case was due to be heard on Friday but was postponed after it was besieged by TV crews.
