THE Tardis may be under new management, but Doctor Who fans are set for the scariest stories yet.

Outgoing Time Lord David Tennant regenerated into Matt Smith on New Year's Day in an episode watched by nearly 11 million viewers - making it the third most popular ever.

In spring, he faces aliens including vampires, weeping angels and old foes the Daleks in World War Two.
