SHE'S the world's biggest diva and is usually done up to the nines - but Mariah Carey is UNRECOGNISABLE in this exclusive photo from her new film.

Most days, the R&B megastar wouldn't be seen dead without her lippy mascara, foundation, bronzer, eyeshadow, blusher, eyeliner and carefully coiffured hair.

But she has ditched all the glam to play a dowdy social worker called Mrs Weiss in the feel-good movie Precious.

And even though Mariah, 40, isn't exactly wowing the fellas, she's been attracting admiring comments from film critics.

The drama, about a troubled teenager in 1980s Harlem, New York, is tipped as a hot Oscar contender. Look out for Mariah's performance when the film is released in British cinemas next year - if you can recognise her that is.
