Corrie babe Michelle Keegan reveals all

GORGEOUS Corrie star Michelle Keegan last night revealed her secret torment at the hands of a crazed fan who insisted she MARRY him.

The beauty - named soap's sexiest female this week - told how the stalker sent her a diamond engagement ring and a wedding band worth thousands of pounds.

And in a chilling letter, he insisted she wear the sparkler while she filmed the ITV1 soap, declaring: "Everyone will know you are not available."

Speaking for the first time about her ordeal, Michelle said: "It was so weird. He said, 'The only thing I can do is ask for your hand in marriage.

"I couldn't believe he sent the rings - and real ones at that! They were worth a lot of money.

"It was freaky but I didn't get too terrified because we have really good security. And my dad is a retired police officer so if he thought I was in danger he would get involved."

Jealous

The rings were returned to the deluded fan, from Leeds, who had given his name and address. Michelle added: "I was just glad the man hadn't come along with them."

But since finding fame in Corrie as Tina McIntyre, she has had to get used to attracting attention - even though she still suspects she doesn't deserve it!

Yes, the girl viewers voted the sexiest female in soaps isn't happy with her body. She fears her 30DD boobs are over the top and her curvy thighs are out of proportion.

After she was shot looking toned and tanned in a pink bikini on holiday in Spain, Michelle found herself having to explain that she's never had a boob job.

The star, who is a petite size 8, said: "People keep asking if they are real - they definitely are. I've always had big boobs but that pink bikini top was padded so it looked like they were up to my chin.

"I normally don't show them off. I think they are too big for my body - there's too much cleavage.

"I don't love my thighs either. I think they are too big compared to the bottom of my legs."

Her body hang-ups are lost on guys though - including her boyfriend Brad Howard, a model and events promoter. "The funniest thing is the way he found out about the bikini shots," she giggled. "He was in the locker room at football and all the lads were gathered around a newspaper, making a fuss. He went over to see who they were looking at and it was me!"The 22-year-old former airline check-in girl has enjoyed huge success since she landed her first acting role in Corrie last year.

And we can reveal things are set to get even hotter for her character Tina at Christmas. when her jealous ex David Platt's half-brother Nick returns to Weatherfield. An insider said: "Tina is going to get caught up with another Platt boy. There's a really exciting twist."

It rounds off a good year for Michelle, whose sexiest female gong at the Inside Soap Awards on Monday is her SECOND this year. She scooped her first at the British Soap Awards in May.

Delighted Michelle added: "I was well chuffed because normally it's the glamorous Hollyoaks girls who win awards like that." And the victory tasted extra sweet because she was once TURNED DOWN for a role on the Channel 4 soap.

Despite being a hit with the boys, Michelle WON'T be appearing in lads mags. "I don't want people to only see me as a glamour girl," she said. "I want to establish myself as an actress."

She went on: "Corrie is never going to push my limits sexually . . . but I would strip off for a film or drama role."

Michelle has been dating Brad for nearly 18 months, although the pair have known each other for five years.

She said: "I think Brad likes my cheeky personality and the fact I'm still down to earth.

"We've talked about marriage, but I don't think I ever want to get married. It's not that important to me. I do want to have lots of kids though."

Michelle also admitted she might not give her fella the boot if he strayed.

She said: "I wouldn't like to think I would put up with a cheating boyfriend but you never know what the situation is going to be.

"I have been cheated on in the past and I didn't dump him right away. I don't regret it because I learned from it. I hope I would end it now, but I might be one of those girls like Tina where it takes a while to realise I should get out."

But Michelle admitted she does get jealous if girls try to hit on her man. "I always think if they are coming up to him and I am there that is really taking the mick.

"I'm protective with my friends too if we're out in a club and blokes are getting too touchy."

She's no stranger to wild nights out as she used to go on benders with her airline pals when she was a check-in clerk. "We'd start drinking early, go to the pub, then a bar, then another bar, then a club and get home at 6am. I still have those nights sometimes."

Michelle turned to acting after twice getting turned down to become a stewardess. "It was fate that I didn't get those jobs because I would never have tried out for Corrie then. And now I have found the thing I am passionate about - acting."

Rivals

It means Michelle has also found herself a new clubbing pal, co-star Helen Flanagan, 19, who plays strumpet Rosie Webster.

But it's Helen who gets the attention when they go out. Michelle said: "I think guys like her more. They think she will be more flirtatious and I will be more hard work. That's partly true.

"People always think that we're rivals but we're friends. We like to gossip and I'm happy to let Helen take on the raunchier roles so that I can keep playing strong-but-sexy Tina."
