Mother's challenge over will

BATTLE: Katherine Jackson
BATTLE: Katherine

THE superstar's mum is planning to challenge his will in court.

Katherine Jackson has asked a judge if she can dispute the authority of two men named as her son's executors without being disinherited.

Jacko's 2002 will, filed in Los Angeles, named former lawyer John Branca and music executive John McClain as co-executors. It contains a "no contest" clause that calls for anyone who challenges it to be cut off.

Katherine and other family members were shocked at Jacko leaving his finances in the hands of lawyers rather than close family.

Katherine, 79, her three grandchildren Prince Michael, Paris and Blanket and unnamed charities are beneficiaries.

If the judge rules in her favour, it is likely to pave the way for Katherine to seek control of her son's estimated £300million estate.

Big dollar signs in their eyes. They should be ashamed of themselves. MJ made it clear he did not want them to run his finances. Period.

Micheal left his money etc to whom he TRUSTED and so it should be left the way he wanted leave it alone its in the right hands

What a pity that Michael's family cannot respect his last wishes. They should be asking themselves why Michael did not trust them to administer his will rather than going running to the Courts to have it overturned. I hope the Courts uphold Michael's express wishes.

RIP Michael.

The control of the money should be given to someone who really loves Michael, his mother, his family. Of course they`re trying to prevent it coming in to hands of greedy persons. Would`nt you do the same if it was your son or daughter ?

I don`t think the family only care for the money. I think they do it, becase they care very much for Michael !

i wish people didn't think they have a right to your money when you are gone, people are so gready!
when they get it they waste it so leave it to the person who has been instructed to deal with it.

It is a pity, but this ir the real truth-his relatives sre interested only in his money!

John Branca is one of the most respected lawyers in the music business. He's the reason Michael had the little money left that he had. If the family ran the business, the money would be squandered and they would be bankrupt again, with all kinds of hustlers friends of Joe's getting deals.

It would be unwise for Michael Jackson to have left control of his estate to his family. His family aren't business savy and have made numorus bad business deals. Michael Jackson stopped doing business with his family after the badly organised Victory Tour in 1984. For the sake and financial well being of his 3 children, MJ's lawyers John Branca and John McClain should be co-executors as MJ instructed until his children are old enough to take control.

This family only seem to be interested in MJ's money.
