IT'S Beach of the Day as our Premier League soccer stars soak up the sun at three exotic hotspots during the summer break.

Manchester United ace RIO FERDINAND, 30, and new bride Rebecca, 29, hit the sunloungers to relax after their £5million wedding bash in Barbados.

Meanwhile Old Trafford team-mate and teen sensation FEDERICO MACHEDA, 17, looked hot stuff as he relaxed in his Italian homeland with a sexy bikini-clad companion. But he risked an earful from boss Sir Alex Ferguson for puffing on a FAG on the sands in Tuscany.

And Chelsea's FRANK LAMPARD, 31, played the doting dad in Marbella, Spain, with daughters Luna, three, and Isla, two. Last year Lamps holidayed at the same resort with the girls' mum Elen Rives, who split from him earlier this year.

Like we are supposed to care where some stupid footballer and his harpy choose to honeymoon. Just because he kicks a bit of of leather/plastic up and down a field for 90 minutes, and gets a ridiculous amount of money for doing it, doesn't mean that he can have the whole resort to his self for a few weeks. As for Amy saying she wants to be a WAG forget it love unless you are at least 50% plastic no footballer will want to know.

actually some wags look similar to a horse. id want to be known for being me not who im dating. also footballers love themselves too much and as sammantha in sex and the city said they'd never approve of me loving myself more than them. i wouldnt want my life splashed over the pages. pictures of me out with my friends getting drunk and partying would annoy me if it appeared in the press. all wannabe wags without a life are attention seekers.

Most of the WAG's are either models or celebrities, or in cases similar to Wayne Rooney childhood sweethearts.

Fergie made a great deal buying Rio Ferdinand. He might have been expensive at nearly 30 million pounds but 4 league titles, 1 FA Cup, 2 League Cups, a European Cup (in 2 finals) and having United take the British Record for Cleansheet hours speaks for itself. West Ham and Leeds are the poorer, West Ham were nearly relegated 2 years ago and Leeds are in an unspeakable position really... they're no where.

This paper needs to clarify whether the picture of the Ferdinand wedding took place in BARBADOS. Because an earlier report stated that it would take place in one of the British Virgin Islands on PETER ISLAND.
