STRICTLY Come Dancing star Len Goodman revealed last night how he has secretly battled cancer.

Judge Len, 65, had an operation three weeks ago - but incredibly kept BBC colleagues in the dark.

Doctors operated to remove a cancerous tumour from his prostate gland.

He says he is now feeling "right as rain" and will be back judging on the hit show in the autumn.

"I've had the surgery now. Everything's gorgeously good," he said.

Len first discovered he had cancer in March during an annual check-up.
