I like craig as bond, more of the fleming perception. I would like to see a moneypenny and Q. the reappearing roles are most entertaining. Maybe a few gagets. Quantum a little dry, not much in the fem. roles in terms of contribution to story. Best bond scene ever was Dr. No, bond at the casino playing cards with woman. that is the true bond personna. Need some story of bond when not working.

All the naysayers - please get out of the room! If you have seen Daniel's performance in Defiance, you would shut your mouth! It was the most compelling, real performance I've ever seen! It was academy award material! In the two James Bond films I've seen (each one about 20 times!), he plays a cold, calculating killer with quite a kill record. He also shows a heart and a tenderness that I've never seen in any other portrayers of James Bond.

It's only a film!!! Must be nice to live in a world where the only thing to upset you is the plot of a 007 flick!! Grow up

And to think, in 1987 (The Living Daylights) Bond was working with Afghans who were fighting the Russian invaders. Just goes to show what a mess we've made over there when a Bond film shows up the ironies of history.

The bond films have moved away from the charm and now border on the ridiculous, time to lay them to rest, or go back to the proven format.

Making a Bond film out of a serious war that is still claiming British lives every week, will backfire badly on the Broccoli empire. I wonder who the baddies will be, and what will happen to the actors who accept the money to participate in this foolish venture. What next ? bond wipes out the IRA ?
