HARD-UP Kerry Katona is the cat that's got the dream after being offered a six-figure sum to reunite with Atomic Kitten, the News of the World can reveal.
Kerry, 28, walked out on the band in 2001. Her replacement Jenny Frost, plus original members Liz McClarnon and Natasha Hamilton went on to have three No1 singles and two No1 albums before disbanding in 2004.
Now a major sponsor wants to finance a ten-date UK tour.

A source close to Kerry said: "She's excited about rejoining the band. Her money problems are well documented, so there was no way she was going to say no to a six-figure offer."
Liz, Natasha and Jenny have performed together at major events since the split, but have always turned their noses up at working with troubled Kerry. But they know the only way to tour again is by agreeing to have the Iceland ad star on board. An insider said: "The girls know the only way they'll drum up any hype and support is by working with Kerry."
Apart from Kerry, Jenny has been the most successful member of the group since the split, modelling underwear for Playboy and presenting Snog, Marry Avoid? on BBC3. Liz's biggest success was winning Celebrity Masterchef last year, while Natasha has appeared on All Star Family Fortunes.
The source continued: "All the girls could do with the money. None of them has managed to recreate their success with the band.
"Kerry wanted to focus on her acting, but the megabucks offer to reunite with her old band was too good an opportunity to turn down."

Speaking of Natasha Hamilton I hope she does well in the charts. My best wishes to her. I could write her a good song anyday. It would be great if Atomic Kitten got back together for one last time. As for Kerry she does have talent it is limited that's all. My best wishes to all of them as a true Atomic Kitten fan.

Try for a minute to imagine Kerry without the binge drinking, over eating and celeb strops. Also imagine some genuine talent for singing, dancing and coming across coherently at interviews. Atomic Kitten were a very poor copy of the girI band formuIa and Kerry Katona is just another exampIe of train crash TV. I went with my mates to see Mod Iegends, 'Secret Affair' who performed their 30th anniversary show recentIy and they were amazing, great musicians and great songwriters but Iess and Iess bands Iike this wiII get signed with everything in music manufactured.

I can understand how this would drum up alot of tabloid interest - they're all desperate for any kind of attention, will be bickering and bitching, and Kerry will be telling anybody who'll listen that she's "QUIT! Yeah, but no, but yeah, but no, but I so totally mean it this time, I've quit and I'm NEVER going back" - only to go back 5 minutes later. It will be tedious and predictable, and probably involve some reality TV 'documentary'...
BUT... who would actually want to see them perform anymore??? Or hear them sing??? As has already been pointed out, Kerry has boasted of not singing a note when she was in the group, saying that she sort of murmered and just did little spoken parts.
And the rest were never THAT good to begin with!
