She is boring, she is drunk, ugly and dirty. She looks like a trash bin. She has no respect for herself nor the crowd. She has a high potential, but sh'e just unable to use it, and fame is killing that girl. There are many other singers as talented as she is, but no producer gives them a chance... It's just unfair.

I was there in the audience, writing for a U K musical website.
I have never been so ashamed of a Brit in my life and am sooo sick and tired of excuses being made for her. I was in the midst of schoolgirls, one whom had saved up her pocket money 'to see Amy' and she was so excited but I gradually watched her and other local girls becoming more and more dismayed.
What a bad example as a visitor and so-called lover of the beautiful island of St Lucia.
A total disgrace and I felt sick to the pit of my stomach and the quotes I received WILL be reported.

This is for insultive guest who questionned which St Lucians can afford a GBP 33 ticket. What do you think we do - run around in grass skirts and loin cloths? We are educated, with degrees and masters and we dont all work in the hotel industry. In case you havent heard - we also produced two (2) nobel laureates - do your homework kind sir!!

I was at the St Lucia concert, and Amy was a real mess, what is even sadder is that her "people" are covering up for her and saying that the concert was abandoned because of the weather, not true, as, when the lights went out she carried on singing (the sound was still on) ...well if you can call it singing, she never sang a song all the way through, or kept up with the music, forgot her lyrics, and at one point just stopped and said she was bored! but in the end she just sat down at the front of the stage and seemed to nod off, at which point she was led off, and the band followed pretty quickly. She needs to sort herself out quickly or she will die - and her "people" need to get a grip, aiding her behaviour will not help her as she looked painfully thin, so, so sad

Amy HAS GREAT talent but she has problems, only she knows what they are. I hope Amy can get over her present sadness and find happiness again as she is the best new talent in the last 40 years to come from England.

Get well Amy and show the world just how good you are, but try to find help to get through the demons that are plaguing you.

I think sadly Amy will never be right again. All her drug and drink abuse have messed her brain up so much that she is not capable mentally or physically of performing anymore.
When you listen to Amy's first album 'Frank' her voice was definately a one off, remarkable. All these people that slag her must remember she was so talented and had a voice in a million, she could sing really difficult songs that other people struggled with. But sadly she is her own worse enemy, I think she is at the point of no return.

Amen to the posters that give Amy Winehouse's band credit for keeping their rather inebriated singer barely afloat. To those wasting energy defending her, you guys are as bad as her record company, managment and some of the folks taking advantage of a rather sick young woman.

To those wishing her dead, stop it, please. Winehouse is a very sick young woman that refuses to treat whatever is ailing her troubled mind, and unfortunately its ruining her rather short career.

Finally, I ask Amy Winehouse, how long must you punish your fans? How long long must your punish yourself? How long must you waste money on chemicals and have people take advantage and use you? How long before you start loving yourself, so your legacy won't be of a substance abuser, but a unique talent that briefly saved music?!???

Her record company need to take some responsibility here also - she should be dropped and forced to be sent into rehabilitation immediately. She needs alot of help....Where was her manager this night? Did they or anyone see her before she went on? Surely she should have been stopped...but no, they were probably in it to make some extra money for themselves at the expense of this poor girl who is totally out of control. She needs to hit rock bottom before she will even attempt to sort herself out. Why doesn't her management not sack her until she is clean.....because they don't care and are just happy to take the money. She has a great talent when she is not out her face with drink or drugs.....but it is an illness. I feel sorry for her parents coz I've lost someone to drink and know how worried they must be.

yet another example of a talented singer/songwriter who cannot handle the pressures of fame. The whole gig was unaudible apart from the occasional wailing sound. At one point i thought i heard the lyrics " IM GOING BACK TO SMACK ". And as far that outfit, she looked like a blue stick, and her arms look like a school desk with all the "body art ". She may have had talent and one point, but that appears to have left her a long time ago. I feel for her family, especially her father. He has tried so her to help her,sadly to no avail .

I sometimes ask myself if I would like her if I knew her personally. As a Londoner who enjoyed Camden Town in days goneby I suspect that Amy brings back happy memories of younger days. I am the same age as her mother but continue to be fascinated by her and her personality. My heart goes out to her. She's got such a great voice. She'll always be my fave young celeb. She's shown great courage and should be praised, not criticised. I don't think I could have gone through all that.

She needs to get caught in possession of a serious amount of 'party pharmaceuticals' and do proper jail time, then may be the shock will spur her to sort out her miserable little self.

At the moment, no matter how badly behaved and how wasted she is, she knows she can get away with it because instead of being properly castigated for being a hopeless drunk, junkie and all round basket case, her record company and management are simply excusing and enabling her addictions, just like her husband did in the past.

Kick her to the curb, let her find her own way to the bottom, and only if then she really wants to change her life can help be given. At present she's living the 'tragic heroine' path of Holliday and Garland, and willingly so.

Everyone makes fun of re-formed bands but the reason why they do good tickets is because you get what you pay for! I'm off to see the 30th Anniversary of the Mod band Secret Affair on May 30th & I know it's going to be great and not a joke effort compared to this crap!

Amy has without a shaddow of a doubt the best voice in the music industry at this moment in time. She writes her own songs, which is more than most if not all of the current chart toppers do, she has her own iconic image, where has all the others follow common stereotypes.

She does need to get a grip, i'll admit that, but even drunk she's an awesome singer. I really, really hope she gets back on track. And i have no doubt that with the great family that she has behind her she will, and when she does her 2nd album with fly out the shops, or flow out the internet these days, with just as much success as Back to Black had.

People will still buy her music ... and she knows this.
She doesn't deserve her legion of fans.
