Katie Price feels the crunch
MEGA-RICH Jordan is tightening her belt because of the credit crunch-by ditching her STYLIST and saving on expensive HAIRDOS!
She's even having to put on her own MAKE-UP to save the pennies.
The big-busted star, worth an estimated £30 million, has cut back on her lavish lifestyle with singer hubby Peter Andre as the recession bites.
Jordan, 30, admitted: "We haven't got a stylist anymore. We've got enough clothes, so we'll do it ourselves."
And, as an example of how even wealthy celebrities are suffering in the economic crisis, she added: "I just get my hair blow-dried, and I can do my own make-up."
The model-real name Katie Price-who has three homes including a £2.5 million seven-bedroom pile in Surrey, insisted: "There's a recession, why waste money? I'm not a big spender anyway."
Hubby Peter, 36, revealed more sacrifices they'd made after a stay in Los Angeles. He said: "We did buy toys for the kids, but we brought them back to England instead of just LEAVING them there."
The couple each make £1 million from their ITV2 reality show Katie & Peter: Stateside, and Katie has raked in millions from book, jewellery, lingerie deals, and personal appearances.
They have just forked out £4 million on a lavish home in LA.
But Pete insisted that the couple are also helping out hard-up family.
Katie added: "We support them and feel sorry for their situation because I know I earn more."

I can't beleive they buy toys for the kids and then abandon them in the house/hotel there staying in at the time. I hope they have the decency to give them to charity..... What pratts.

Does Jordan think we are all fools when she goes on about getting rid of their stylists due to the credit crunch then runs out and spends £15,000 on a new horse. Her hair looks like a birds nest gone wrong,so I'd say, sack the stylist. She's so gross and vulgar it's untrue.

why do you all seem to hate katie price??? is it because your jelous of her life style that shes prettyer then you all or that shes got peter andre?? well guess what i dont think she cares at what you all got to say about her i think she is a person to look up to and whats wrong with her hair?? she earns her money instead of people that sit on there arses all day i think she is intited to do what she wants with it yes there may be people out there that are in need of money but hay thats life just live it you only get one of them so dont be a hater im sure she is a very lovly women!!!!!

There are too many people out there who seem to find it wrong that jordan and peter like to enjoy spending their money how they see fit.Its just jealousy!
Good luck to them.Pete should be praised for the way he has stuck around with someone elses kid with all his disabilities and in a Britain where family morals mean nilch nowadays maybe the millions that seem to love watching them,yet slagging them as well,should follow in the good examples they set.

If they have that much money then surely the wages of their stylist is not that much out of their pockets but would have meant a huge amount to them in order to support their family.

Good on her - not entirely sure what her motives are here but not spending excessively on unnecessary things shows a bit of class. There's alot of people out there getting themselves in to debt because they are trying to keep up with celebrity's lifestyle without their paypacket (more fool them), and in showing restraint she's showing that you don't need to spend money for the sake of it. .....on the other hand she's just made at least 2 people redundant!
