Battle of the WAGs in our chav poll

COLEEN Rooney is regarded as bigger chav than Victoria Beckham, a cheeky online News of the World poll has revealed.

Mrs Rooney, wife to Manchester United footballer Wayne, has upped her game in the style stakes recently - clinching a deal to be the face of Asda and appearing in Vogue.

But it seems the public still haven't forgotten her chav-tastic roots - the puffa jacket, the tracksuits, the wedding proposal from Wayne on a BP garage forecourt.

We asked readers to vote on whether or not certain celebs are chavs or classy. Perhaps not suprisingly, Kerry Katona was named as the No1 chav in showbiz, with a 97% chav rating.

But in the first seven days of poll, 68 per cent of the 4,000 people who voted also said that Coleen was a chav.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham got one of the lowest showbiz chav scores - with 63% saying she is classy and only 37 per cent of you reckoning she's a chav.

Mrs Beckham - who famously called her footballer husband David Golden Balls on TV - seems to have managed to lose her chavy Essex roots.

Essex girl Jodie Marsh came second with a 95 per cent chav score. All ratings correct at the time of writing - but they're changing all the time, so check out latest scores below.

Victoria is far from being a chav... I am sorry but she has money, good taste, loving family and most of all she has class!!!!

Does vic ever look at her photos when with her boys and realise how thoroughly miserable they look? on the other hand theyalways look happy when with their dad.

A better poll would be which is the more real - classy is not what Vicky Beckham represents - we are constantly fed the sycophantic media attention that she seeks I think she is very well past any sell by date. a cariacature of what she pretexts to be...Audrey Hepburn had class , Vicky is an attention seeker end of
