Harry Potter star Emma Watson to quit Britain

BRAINBOX Hermione's gone Harvard Potty . . . and is off for a spell in the States, we can reveal.

Star Emma Watson, who plays Harry Potter's clever pal in the movies, has snubbed UK universities to apply to new US President Barack Obama's famous old college.

The fees for prestigious Harvard are £30,000 a year-but the 18-year-old actress should have no trouble conjuring that up after the Hogwarts movies made her one of the world's highest paid teenage stars.

A close pal said : "Emma has always been a very dedicated student and made sure she could schedule her acting around her studies.

"She loves America and has loads of friends out there. She's really excited about following some of the great thinkers in attending one of their great universities."

Emma took the American college admission test at a private centre in London last week.

"She plans to go to Harvard," said her pal. "But she hasn't completely ruled out any of the other Ivy League colleges, in particular Yale and Brown as they are all great schools."

Emma-who gained four A-level A Grades at Headington School, Oxford-is currently filming the final Potter film, Deathly Hallows. But the star is ready to take a break from acting. "I would like to go to university, she has said. "I have a need now to study."

YAAAY!!!! congratulations emma!!!im trying to get in2 harvard and its good that shes gooing to come to our country cuz in britain i bet its to comfortable and mayb she wants a more challenging life and that is really great for her. I hope i can run in2 her at harvard. cu in 2011!!!! emma watson!!!!!!!!

Good For Emma, She is going outside the comfort zone. Most young adults don't. This will give her a different perspective of life. She will enjoy studing more of the American style of learning, and the cultural diversity.

So, just leave her alone about not staying in England. WELCOME EMMA WATSON to America College Life.
