Sex secrets of the WAGs

We've opened our files on the nation's best known footballers' Wives and Girlfriends.

Now we reveal their sex secrets, lifting the lid on the couples' most intimate moments - and award each our referee's verdict.

CASSIE SUMNER (24, Michael Essien's ex):

Cassie Sumner, star of WAG's Boutique, dated Chelsea's Michael Essien for 17-months.

When they split up earlier this year she revealed: "When you're with a footballer who thinks money can buy everything, you're expected to have kinky sex whenever they want, do whatever they want, be at their beck and call 24/7.

"He loved me to wear white lingerie because he's obsessed with being clean."

"He said white was virginal and was what girlfriends should wear. The same went for where we had sex. It was always on crisp white sheets on his bed and never anywhere else."

And Cassie whispered: "I've got to be honest, sex with Michael wasn't fantastic. In fact towards the end of our relationship we only did it once every three months."

Ref's verdict: Red card. Hell hath no fury like a WAG scorned.

CHERYL COLE (24, married to Ashley Cole):

Girls Aloud babe Cheryl started dating Ashley Cole in 2004 when the footballer was at Arsenal. The pair couple wed last year.

Earlier this year Cheryl revealed: "Sex with Ashley is more important to me than all the money in the world.

"Sex makes me happy, money doesn't. And Ashley makes me feel sexy, he's fantastic."

And in 2005 Cheryl told a mag: "Sometimes you've just got to go for it and throw your man on the bed. Don't be embarrassed - do it with confidence."

"I think most men prefer to hear little breaths rather than big loud screams, " she added. "Otherwise you sound like a porn film."

Ref's verdict: Full time whistle. With warm-ups like this Ashley should be on top form.

DANIELLE LLOYD (23, Teddy Sheringham's ex):

Glamour girl Dani met former England striker Teddy Sheringham when he was one of the judges on Miss Great Britain - which she went on to win.

They split up after Dani took part in last year's Celeb Big Brother and the model got caught up in the show's race row.

Dani's ex boyfriend, a delivery driver called Kenny William's revealed earlier this year: "The sex was wild. She knew what she wanted and took the lead.

"She liked a gentle spanking and she left me covered in scratches. We had sex in the bath a few times and she loved it. I'd run the bath deep and hot and we'd climb in and soap each other's bodies before making love.

"Danielle loved sex in the shower too. I'd cover her with bubbles, she'd lean against the tiles and I'd stroke her body as we did it."

Ref's verdict: Yellow card. Great up front but hasn't been off the subs bench since split with Teddy.

VICTORIA BECKHAM (33, married David Beckham):

The couple have three sons and have been together since 1997 - getting hitched in 1999 - when Victoria was better know as Posh Spice and David was a Manchester United hero.

Now living in LA - with Becks playing for LA Galaxy - Victoria continues to reign supreme on the WAG scene.

Mrs Beckham, revealed last year: "The best way to seduce a man is by wearing high heels, tight fitting jeans and a figure hugging T-shirt."

Oh and if you happen to be stuck in one country while your hubby is in another then sexy chat is always an option according to Mrs Beckham.

"I suppose it's a good thing that it is not possible to record digital mobile phone conversations," Posh said before she moved permanently to Madrid with Becks in 2003.

Ref's verdict: Posh performs well at home but didn't impress away in Paris last week.

COLEEN MCLOUGHLIN (21, engaged to Wayne Rooney):

Coleen McLoughlin and Wayne Rooney met on the back streets of Liverpool and have stuck together through a whirlwind of fame and fortune.

The pair got together while still in their teens while Wayne was at Everton, and had yet to get his first England call up.

Now Wayne is at Manchester United and an England regular - and Coleen is a celebrity in her own right.

Coleen revealed earlier this year: "Wayne adores how shapely I am too and is forever grabbing me round the waist," Wayne Rooney's fiancee reveals.

"I'll certainly never be one of those celebrities who becomes really skinny. I just love my curvy bum and hips too much."

Ref's verdict: Full time whistle. Sees off challenges from unexpected quarters with ease.

ABBEY CLANCY (21, Peter Crouch's girlfriend):

Abbey Clancy's on-off relationship with Liverpool's Peter Crouch is currently back on, with whispers wedding bells might be around the corner.

But after being dumped by lanky Peter in 2006 after her shameful cocaine past was exposed Abbey said: "It's his loss, not mine

"I've been treated shabbily and if I want to go out and find myself a new footballer for a boyfriend tomorrow, then that is exactly what I will do.

"I had a great time mixing with other players and their partners in Germany and I want that sort of lifestyle again."

But the couple got back together again and recently Abbey said: "We're incredibly happy together. All good things come to those who wait."

Ref's verdict: Red card. Can pull a victory out of nowhere, but gets sent off too often.

TONI TERRY (24, married to John Terry):

Beautician Toni married England skipper John Terry in June this year - but before they got hitched he confessed to cheating on her eight-times.

He said:: "I've misbehaved and slept with girls behind her back and that's not right. She knows about it all now-I've told her everything-and we're moving on.

"The last few years have been really hard for me and Toni," he added. "But I am determined to do my best to clean up my act now."

Ref's verdict: Full time whistle. A reliable performer.

CHARLOTTE MEARES (21, Jermain Defoe's fiancee):

Tottenham's Jermain Defoe has been caught cheating on his 21-year-old fiancee Charlotte more than once, since they started dating in 2005.

But he when they first met he said: "I fancied her the moment I saw her - she's so sexy and beautiful.

"But we were both working at an exhibition at the time so I sent my mate Moses to ask her for her number.

"She didn't have a clue who I was but she still said yes. And that's when Moses told her who I was and what I did.

"She's a lot like me. She likes to have fun, to laugh and she is laid back, too. She's able to take things in her stride, she doesn't let things faze her."

Ref's verdict. Yellow card. Form is fine - but is often subbed.

MELANIE SLADE (18, Theo Walcott's girlfriend):

Student Melanie was thrust onto the public stage following Arsenal's Theo's surprise selection for the England World Cup squad in 2006.

Melanie, who is going to St George's University in London next year to study physiotherapy, met in Theo in her home town of Southampton where Theo made his name.

"I see Theo after training most nights and at weekends," says 18-year-old Melanie Slade. "I'm sort of living between his house in London and my parents' place in Southampton. I like going out for dinner and hanging out with our friends at Theo's."

She added: "Theo does spoil me sometimes. The ring (£10,000's worth of diamond and platinum) was a surprise gift and he bought me the car (a VW Beetle convertible) for my 17th birthday. It's white and I love it. Part of the number plate is M4T which stands for Melanie 4 Theo."

Ref's verdict: Yellow card. This under-21 has potential.

ELEN RIVES (29, Frank Lampard's fiancee):

Spaniard Elen Rives got engaged to Chelsea's Frank Lampard in 2004 - and they had their first daughter in 2005, and their second in May this year.

"When we fell in love," Frank said, "I'd never known anything like it before."

Ref's verdict: Full time whistle. Is a top scorer at home.
