JOHN McGLYNN: WE proved a point. You have to remember a lot of these players have come up from the Second Division. But every single one of my players gave everything they've got.
We defended well in the first half, but in the second I thought we were exceptional.
They got a wee break of the ball right at the end, it's landed at the boy's feet and he's knocked it in.
We're disappointed, but not completely cut up as the tie is still very much alive.
We've all been there before - you've got to play to the very last kick of the ball.
There were so many positives for us. Grant Murray and Mark Campbell were absolutely immense for us at the back. I think Mark won every header.
The key to it was that we defended really well as a team.
Stephen Simmons was also immense, but I suppose if he puts in that chance at 1-0 it leaves Aberdeen with a mountain to climb.
It's advantage Aberdeen now, but we are still very much in the tie.
We'll go up there and give it our best shot and see where that takes us.

MARK McGHEE: I WAS pleased with the way we went about it, even when we were a goal down. We didn't adopt a cavalier style.
If we'd lost it I would have wondered what this game is all about.
The first goal came against the run of play and I felt we were unfortunate to go in behind at half-time.
I was pleased with the way we built the pressure up in the second half, but you are naturally frustrated when the goal doesn't come.
But if someone had said we were going out of the Cup I wouldn't have believed them.
The result was the least we deserved, but I was beginning to think there might be something in this cup curse thing.
Overall I still think we deserved to go back to Pittodrie but we can't think the tie is over yet as they've shown they are a side capable of causing us problems.
If we apply ourselves and play in the right way we should get through though.
