JOHN HUGHES: MAYBE the referee brought pressure on himself with one or two early bookings but that's only his second SPL game and he'll be a good enough referee who will be around for a number of years.

As for Ian Murray, he played the ball first. What's he to do? Houdini couldn't have disappeared from that. You've got to play the tackle, you can't just disappear.

As long as you play the ball first and Ian did that. I like the boy Fyvie who shows maturity beyond his years. I think he's going to be a big player for Aberdeen and Scotland in the future.

I just hope the guy's not had any damage done to him, but Ian was trying to win the ball. Sendings-off spoil the game. One of them was justified, but I can sympathise with Mark McGhee.

I keep saying this, we are getting into the realms of football being non-contact.

I think Scottish supporters like a wee bit of physical contact.

MARK McGHEE: FRASER FYVIE looks like he is badly injured. He's not got a broken leg or anything like that but he certainly looks like he has got ankle ligament damage.

It could be argued the tackle was legitimate and Murray won the ball but I think it was over-robust and it was a tackle the ref should have taken action on. The linesman was standing right next to him.

As far as we are concerned, the referee has got a sending off and a straight red card wrong. He was entitled to send Maurice Ross off for a couple of silly bookings, and that ultimately has cost us the game.

But I thought Chris Maguire was unlucky. The first red card was unnecessary but it was clumsy from Maurice.

The second one was two bookings. The first one Maguire pulled out of the challenge and I don't think he should have booked him for it.

And for the second one Maguire maintains all he did was try to turn and get the ball.

Mulgrew is quite right to refuse a contract if offered
as he would be signing up to a club with no ambition. The directors expect fans to turn up week after week and watch pure rubbish. They are not interested in investing money to improve the squad by buying players and paying better wages. They are
happy to take lame players or others that quite honestly no other team wants. As for the fans its your own fault. The only way to see real change at
AFC is to STOP going.Im sure empty seats would hurry along a change of attitude and board.
