Scorers: ST JOHNSTONE: Samuel, Millar, Davidson FALKIRK: Finnigan

DEREK McINNES: WE flew out the traps and could have been out of sight. Possibly the fans thought missed chances would come back to haunt us and there was an edginess about it.
It was a big game for both sides and my men dug deep to keep the points in Perth.
Murray Davidson can be pleased but Chris Millar again showed I made the wrong decision by leaving him out. I felt we were too open and the decision to bring on Chris for Filipe Morais was tactical.
Falkirk are an established SPL team and we are the promoted team. Our league's the bottom six so it was a big win.
MURRAY DAVIDSON: MY goal was a bonus - it was all about the result. I knew the keeper was out of his goal and gave it everything I had to get on the end of it.
It was a relief after missing a first-half chance and going a few games without scoring. That's us five clear of Falkirk. We can hold our own in the league.

ALEX SMITH: WE committed hari-kari out there. We conceded poor goals.
We let them in the back door for the second goal and that really was a cardinal error.
Their third finished the game as a contest. But why is it a clash of heads results in a free-kick against the visiting side?
We have to keep battling away for that elusive first win, and everyone at the club has to keep pulling together.
We are trying to source players for the transfer window in January and there's no doubt the board is behind the manager Eddie May.
I'm sure come the time funds will be available.
