Terry Butcher's position as the Scotland coach's right-hand man could now be in jeopardy because Inverness Caley have been relegated to the First Division.
Butcher's dual role as Inverness boss and Scotland No 2 never created a conflict of interests last season because SPL fixtures are cancelled when Scotland are playing.
But SFL games can go ahead, so Inverness could be playing on the SAME day as Scotland.
Burley's side face Norway in Oslo on Wednesday, August 12, Macedonia at Hampden on Saturday, September 5, and Holland at Hampden four days later.
There is also the possibility of play-off games on November 14 and 18 - and Inverness may have league fixtures on several of those dates.

An SFA spokesman confirmed: "It's maybe something Terry will need to look at, but George certainly expects him to be involved with Scotland next season.
"George and Terry have already had a chat about the situation. They do realise there is an issue here.
"The next step is to wait until the fixture list is announced and we will have a better idea of where we stand."

To be honest "juin", Terry ground out more wins at home in his short SPL spell, than Brewster did the entire rest of the season, that says enough for me. The team are poor, so regardless, I feel wee were going down. As far as "awesome" goes, just cause you can't have your man back, don't need to slate him.

If he comes back to managed the mighty Well this will not be a problem.
He would be daft not to apply for his old job.
In my eyes Terry is indeed all gold. :-)

Seeing Butcher take his team down was awesome. He bragged how good he was and how he would take them towards the middle of the table. When he took over Caley were in a safe position. It took Butcher to make them worse off. Congratulations Terry. You did a great job.
