KT Tunstall ties knot in secret
ALL LAUGHS AS SINGER GETS WED ON SKYE
SKYE do! Singer KT Tunstall squeals in delight as she ties the knot with her lover yesterday.
The rock chick looked Drastic Fantastic in a jewel-encrusted traditional white gown and veil.
Suddenly I See star KT, 33, was ecstatic as she walked up the isle to meet Luke Bullen at Skye's Flodigarry Country House.
The eco-maniac's entourage included a clutch of bridesmaids decked in GREEN.
And in true music festival style, guests enjoyed a reception in a garden tent complete with Portaloos!
Lucky Luke, 34 - who drums in her band - punched the air in front of 150 guests after the civil ceremony at 3.30pm.
They were monitored by burly security guards dressed in shades and KILTS.
One laughed: "It was like T In The Park! It was a really chilled-out rock star's wedding. They both looked pleased as punch."
The wedding party dined on local seafood and beef, then enjoyed live music by pals, which included their favourite song, Phil Oakey's Together In Electric Dreams.
One guest, dressed in a bowler hat and silver slip-on shoes, said: "It's all very laidback. She wanted everyone to feel at ease."
About 50 of the guests had stayed at nearby Duntulm Hotel on Friday night, where they guzzled whisky until 6am.
One laughed: "We all had sore heads - and then we had to do it all over again!
"Thankfully KT and Luke are throwing a post-wedding barbecue at Duntulm, so that'll be a perfect hangover cure."
KT got engaged in her home town of St Andrews, Fife, when Luke turned up at her door on Christmas Day to propose - and wedding banns posted in Portree, Skye, revealed her real name, Kate Victoria Tunstall.
The wedding party had the Flodigarry Hotel to themselves as a sign read: "Closed due to a private function from Thursday 04/09/08 until Monday 08/09/2008."
The £90-a-night 18-bedroom hideaway is right beside the beach. A source said: "They couldn't have chosen a better venue."
Unlike her debut album, she didn't need a Skye To The Telescope to enjoy the view!
