The thrilled actress scooped the top gong at the fifth Scottish Style Awards in Glasgow.
And Edinburgh-born Lou, 28 - who starred in 2007 Tom Cruise film Lions For Lambs - gushed: "I'm overwhelmed! I don't know how this happened but it's so cool to be a style icon for Scotland. I love it!"
Louise was among a host of stars who paraded along the red carpet at Glasgow's Fruitmarket. Among them was comic Rory Bremner, 48, and Miss Scotland Katharine Brown, 22.

The bash was hosted by pop star Sophie Ellis Bextor, 30, who kicked off the night by singing her hit, Heartbreak Make Me A Dancer, before dazzling with FIVE outfit changes.
One guest said: "Sophie looked amazing - the guys couldn't take their eyes off her."
Hope Springs and Complicity star Richard Madden, 23, was voted most stylish male by judges including trip hop icon Tricky and stylist Judy Blame.
And Codeine Velvet Club hit the right note by scooping the most stylish band award.
Event founder Mary McGownie gushed: "This year was a truly glittering affair. The evening truly represented the dazzling face of modern Scotland."
