The gorgeous girls wore a string of skimpy costumes - including kinky PVC gear - to play sexy secretaries in the racy office drama.
But their revealing gear couldn't protect them from the icy chill of the freezing BBC studio in Dumbarton where the series was shot.
Annabel Scholey, who plays celebrity-obsessed Midge Lerner, admitted: "The outfits we had were amazingly glamorous, but there wasn't much to them. We were freezing. Thankfully the girls in wardrobe kept filling hot water bottles which we kept hidden under the office desks on set."
Personal Affairs takes a sexy peek at office life through the eyes of personal assistants Midge, Lucy, Sid, Nicole and Grace. Midge works for love rat Simon, Nicole's boss is rich Rachel, Lucy is lazy Iain's PA and Sid and Grace help American Rock.
And despite her character joining the file-high club in the stationery cupboard, Annabel says it was when the cameras stopped rolling that romance began.
The 25-year-old, of West Yorkshire, fell for co-star Kieran Bew, who plays her childhood sweetheart Avi Gellman. Annabel said: "We didn't let on until the wrap party at the end of filming when everyone saw us kiss. Kieran's character is about the only guy my character doesn't kiss - but it was different off set."
While most of the girls were left shivering, Maimie McCoy - who stars as ice maiden Nicole, got hot and steamy in a lift with ex-EastEnder Joe Absolom.
Maimie, 30, said: "They had me dressed in a huge fur coat that was pretty heavy and made me really hot.
"The lift itself was very small and filled with props, not to mention a cameraman and sound equipment."
But not all of Maimie's roles have been so glamorous - she once played a murdered journalism student in hit cop drama Taggart.
She said: "I was only wearing a little skirt and vest and had to lie on a cold car bonnet without moving a muscle while they filmed.
"Give me the fur coat any time!"
PERSONAL Affairs starts on BBC3 at 9pm on Tues, June 16.
