The pair got a tuft time on set as they paraded around in their over the-toupee hairpieces.
Stephen Purdon, who plays Bob, looks like 1970s crooner Leo Sayer in his giant Afro. He's seen wearing it for a flat-warming bash held by newcomer Innes Maitland (Samuel Robertson).
And the party's big hair theme certainly tickled the cast.

Stephen said: "I got a bit of stick on set for the hair but it was a great laugh to film. I enjoyed my outfit because I was wearing platform shoes, so it was nice to be a bit taller for a while. It was a surreal day because everyone was dressed up on set."
Viewers will see Amber - played by Lorna Anderson - try to impress Innes at the party in Tuesday's episode.
But the bid for romance frizzles out when Jennifer (Lorna Craig) spills a drink over her dress. Meanwhile, Bob's stepdad Jimmy Mullen (Billy McElhaney) is sure he's getting the brush- off work-wise because of his bald patch.

So he dons a toupee for his next interview and leaves pals in kinks.
When he walks into the Tall Ship, regulars Malcolm Hamilton (Johnny Beattie) and Gina Rossi (Libby McArthur) are open-mouthed in shock.
But to be fair the dodgy syrup is enough to make anyone fluff their lines!
