Combat Stress are real heroes

TRAUMATISED WAR VETERAN PRAISES EFFORTS

A TRAUMATISED war veteran last night paid tribute to the work of Combat Stress.

Former Irish Guards sergeant Mark Harper, above, was referred to Hollybush House after jumping off a pier in a suicide bid.

Ulsterman Mark, 43, said: "I was involved in digging up mass graves in Kosovo and still have nightmares about it.

"The staff here are wonderful. You don't feel embarrassed or judged for how you feel. You can talk to anyone."
