
One ploy involved FLYING drugs into prison, tied to a balloon.
Another involved gluing cocaine rocks and cannabis inside Pot Noodle lids.
And a boozy inmate at Edinburgh's Saughton hid his drinking from warders by filling his hot water bottle with WHISKY.
The shock findings are contained in a confidential Scottish Prison Service report into searches at the 880-inmate facility, where a smuggled mobile is found DAILY.
The probe found that phones change hands behind bars for up to £350 while crack cocaine sells for £150 a gram - three times the street price.
A jail insider said: "Getting stuff in without the screws catching on is big business. Some guys can make more dealing drugs and selling booze on the inside than they did when they were free."
Staff found 22 parcels that were thrown over the walls last month.
