ANGUS SINCLAIR TO FEATURE IN SHOW ABOUT WORLD'S END KILLINGS

KILLER Angus Sinclair has been offered a role in a TV show about the World's End slayings - which he was sensationally CLEARED of.

BBC producers want to interview the monster, 64, behind bars about the murders of 17-year-old pals Helen Scott and Christine Eadie.

If denied permission to film him in Peterhead jail, they'll use tapes of chats with him instead.

Last night a source said: "The people working on the programme are convinced he literally got away with MURDER - and they want to prove it."

Helen and Christine vanished after leaving the World's End pub, Edinburgh in 1977. Their bodies were found a day later in East Lothian.

Sinclair was cleared of their murders in 2007 after a judge ruled there was insufficient evidence.

But the Scottish Government is considering a law change that could see him tried again.

He is serving life for killing Mary Gallacher, 17, in Glasgow, in 1979. He also killed Catherine Reehill, seven, in 1961 and has been linked to other unsolved murders.
