And only time will tell whether we end up with the inclusive Britain he has set out in his vision, or the "grab as much as you can for yourself and stuff the rest" kind the Tories will surely give us.
But I want no part of the shameful bullying going on in what now passes for journalism.
Andrew Marr's appalling interview, persistently badgering Brown with questions about painkillers and his eyesight after emphatic denials before and during the interview, was shoddy journalism.
In the old school, I was taught that you'd better have some concrete evidence before you start accusing.
But all of that professionalism has been chucked out, along with the sense of fair play, in this Holy Grail to kick Labour out of office. The office of Prime Minister isn't even being given the respect it deserves.
But that aside. Can you imagine Marr on live television asking Tory leader David Cameron if he has to take sleeping tablets or even booze to help him sleep at night as he still grieves for the loss of his young son? It just wouldn't happen.
But in the rush to trample a government down, the very people who should be impartial have forgotten the basic fairness that is at the heart of Britain.
I hope that it all blows up in Marr's melting alien face.

I am glad somebody else sees this, maybe Gordoon isnt everybodys cup of tea, but he is a human being and our prime minister. What a cheak Marr has speaking to him like that, its bad enough our enemies speaking like that. Imagine if Gordon died or assasinated (heaven forbid) , could you hear them then, they would all be so 2 faced.
I can see Marr getting his "come uppance". I honestly think a lot dont like Gordon because he is a Scot, One thing for sure he and his wife are a million times more genuine than tjhe Blairs !!!.

I agree with everything Alexandera has posted ..it seems now our Media has morphed into the worse form of American Journalism ..I noticed it when the queen mother died and Peter Sissons did an interview with Lady in Waiting who was a her bedside and Peter Sisson kept badgering her on who was there and what was said ..you could see Mr Sissons was squirming himself and the Lady gave him a short sharp answer that she would never divulge what was said as it was Private .it as gotten steadly worse ..and the way the Media have gone after Gordon Brown as been shameful and shows how this Country and Our Culture has been diluted so now all we are left with is the dross...Progress ??...I think not

I completley agree. I am disgusted in the media; it seems that they are no longer impartial, but have become so obvious about their love for the Tories.
I'm guessing they've all been made to forgotten what their last reign was like? I certainly haven't forgotten how terrible they acted towards the people years ago.
This is proof that the media can no longer be trusted to give us the truth, or the correct information.
If only the rest of Britain could see it. The media might as well go all American, and declare which side they are on; Republican or Democrat. It seems that, this is the way we are going. We will no longer be the balanced society.
Propoganda, and favouritism, here we come.
