That's why the News of the World's campaign to Save Our Streets is holding another series of debates in schools and local community centres across the country.

This is your chance to meet Home Secretary Alan Johnson plus police chiefs, community leaders and families who have been victims of crime. Come and have your say on how we can tackle the violence that is blighting our lives.
