DIVERSITY BACK OUR CAMPAIGN

BRITAIN'S Got Talent champs Diversity are backing Save Our Streets, the News of the World's campaign against street crime.

The dance superstars took time out from their busy tour schedule to show their support for our roadshows - which allow readers to have their say about the violence blighting our communities.

This week's roadshow is in Southampton, with more to come in Ilford, Leeds, Nottingham, Swansea, Brighton and Manchester.

The 11-strong urban dance crew, who grew up in London and Essex, have all seen the horrors of knife and gun crime. Now they are urging our readers to do all they can to stamp out crime.

Shaggy-haired Perri Kiely, 13, said: "We've all seen how crime can ruin lives, and some of us have been directly affected by it. Luckily for us, we all enjoy dance and we all turned to that to get away from street crime. Fellow dancer Mitchell Craske, 13, added: "Crime is never the answer for anything. We want other kids to know we think crime is wrong.

"There are much better ways to spend your time, like dancing. We're proud to back the News of the World campaign. Making our streets safer is something we all believe in."
