The soccer star got through nearly £5million, according to his company finances.
In the last financial year Rooney's company Stoneygate 48 ended up £603,241 in the black.
But this year, the figure has plunged to £1.1million in the red. As his estimated £3million a year from sponsorship deals with Nike and Coca-Cola go through the firm, that means he spent around £4.7million.
Chief among the Manchester United and England star's expenses was his wedding to childhood sweetheart Coleen McLoughlin (pictured above, with Wayne).
The pair spent an estimated £100,000 per head at the bash in Italy last month.
Dazzling
These costs included a £25,000 fund for the 64 guests' clothes, a stag do in Ibiza and hen parties in Manchester, Gran Canaria and Miami.
On top of that they forked out £400,000 to book Westlife and £250,000 for a pair of dazzling rings.
Coleen's beautiful silk gown by Marchesa reportedly cost £200,000. The pair have a £4.5million home in Prestbury, Cheshire, as well as a fleet of cars including a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin and a Bentley.
But don't worry that the Rooneys will be skint any time soon.
The OK! magazine deal for the rights to cover their wedding made them £2.5million.
Coleen's earnings are also impressive. She has her own perfume range, book deals and magazine columns.
And Rooney still has his £130,000-a-week salary going straight into his personal bank account. Back of the net!
