THE AUTHOR of best selling book '100 Things To Do Before You Die' has died - with only half his own list ticked off.

Dave Freeman died at 47 after falling and hitting his head at home in Venice, California.

Freeman co-wrote the book which became an instant hit with those seeking more adventure in their lives.

Among his suggestions were taking a Voodoo pilgrimage in Haiti, nude night surfing in Australia, and taking part in the world famous bull run in Pamplona, Spain.

Co-author Neil Teplica said: "He didn't have enough days, but he lived them like her should have."
