Lewis Hamilton's luggage nabbed

STUNNED Lewis Hamilton had his luggage nicked yesterday while checking out of a posh Spanish hotel with Pussycat Dolls girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.

Two thieves grabbed a rucksack and leather holdall as the Formula One ace’s chauffeur loaded up his Mercedes. Bodyguards gave chase as multi-millionaire Lewis, 23, watched stunned from the lobby of the five-star Malaga Palacio on the Costa del Sol.

But the robbers disappeared into the crowds.

Nicole, 30 — who met Lewis last November — had performed at an MTV concert in Malaga.

Druggies

A witness said: “Lewis’s driver was cleaning the wing mirrors when two men ran up to the open boot and pinched a rucksack and leather holdall.

“They were opportunists and looked like drug addicts. Fans of Lewis and Nicole who were waiting outside the hotel shouted ‘stop thief’ and three bodyguards gave chase.

“But they disappeared into the crowds. The one carrying the rucksack dropped it but the other guy kept hold of his. I overheard security men saying it had Lewis’s iPod.”

Earlier this year Lewis faced racist abuse in Spain as he tested a new car.
