TROUBLED actor Owen Wilson gets a helping hand from his gorgeous ex-girlfriend Kate Hudson-after secretly REKINDLING their romance.

Hollywood star Owen, 39, who reportedly attempted suicide last year, looked relaxed and happy by actress Kate's side during a date at the cinema.

The famous pair have been keeping their reunion under wraps-but our snaps PROVE they are back together.

A passerby said: "Owen and Kate looked completely head-over-heels. But when they saw they were being watched, he let go of her hand and walked ahead of her."

Kate, 28, and Owen first got together in 2006 after filming You, Me and Dupree. They dated for a year-and soon after they split up Owen allegedly tried to kill himself.

But last week the heart-throb actor, whose new film Drillbit Taylor is released in British cinemas this week, was all smiles when Kate came to stay at his plush villa on a Miami island for a few days.

Kate, who has a four-year-old son with her musician ex-hubby Chris Robinson, showed Owen what he'd been missing by flaunting her slim body by the poolside.

And later Owen joyfully laughed during a dip in the sea, when Kate threw in a pet dog to play with him.

Let's hope things are going swimmingly for him at last...
