THE Home Office has a list of 100 "approved premises" for high-risk offenders

The majority of these hostels are still approved to accept paedophiles.

* Premises marked with an asterisk signifies the hostel is now closed to paedophiles as a result of the News of the World's campaign. Our list is adapted from a Home Office 2004 resources review document which listed 100 approved premises in England and Wales. We have not included 14 hostels for which current status is unclear
