Greedy Sarah Ferguson, 50, was filmed on Tuesday night taking a $40,000 (£27,000) cash down-payment from an undercover News of the World reporter.
Unknown to the Prince, Fergie PROMISED to introduce us to him, CLAIMED he'd help fix lucrative deals and DEMANDED a cut of all profits. She vowed: "Look after me and he'll look after you. . . you'll get it back tenfold. I can open any door you want."
As the Duchess of York set out her stall, she blatantly put a price tag on an introduction to Britain's unsuspecting trade envoy Prince, opening the door to lucrative international deals.
Behind her ex's back, Fergie claimed to have discussed it with him and lied: "Andrew said to me, 'Tell him £500,000.'
"He knows that he's had to underwrite me up to now because I've got no money. So if you want to meet him in your business, look after me and he'll look after you. . . you'll get it back tenfold."
The greedy 50-year-old Duchess, who believed she was dealing with a rich businessman, was then filmed at a secret meeting pocketing an extra $40,000 down-payment in cash.
Along the way she also INSISTED on one per cent commission on any deals we might strike due to her royal connections, and DEMANDED we wire the main £½million backhander into her private HSBC bank account.
After the shady deal was sealed with a handshake just before midnight on Tuesday Fergie again tried to drag unwitting Prince Andrew, also 50, into it. She bragged: "That opens up everything you would ever wish for. And I can open any door you want. And I will for you."
Her astonishing offer will shock the Queen, the royal family and the Government, for the loose cannon Duchess's ludicrous claims that Prince Andrew - unpaid UK Special Representative for Trade and Investment - could be party to such a scam jeopardise Britain's global reputation for honesty and fair play.
And her willingness to give an unvetted businessman access to her Who's Who contacts book of the world's most influential figures raises huge security fears.
We began investigating the scandal after a close royal associate blew the whistle and told us Fergie was already cashing in on unknowing Andrew by setting up deals with foreign businessmen. She even claimed she had set up a new company last month to handle the dodgy transactions.
And the News of the World has details of TWO tycoons she boasted she had introduced to Prince Andrew.
After our investigators infiltrated her close circle of associates, Fergie agreed to a private meeting with our man, posing as an international tycoon, without once checking his credentials.
That first meeting was at a New York hotel, after Fergie had primed her aides to try to persuade our man to pay a hefty advance fee of $40,000.

Then - again without any security checks - brazen Fergie texted our man on Monday to arrange a dinner meeting back in London at the exclusive Mosimann's dining club the following night. In a bid to keep the deal under wraps, she sent an advance party of two assistants to the Belgravia restaurant with a detailed seven-page confidentiality agreement they claimed the Duchess wanted signed BEFORE the dinner date.
The contract would effectively prevent our reporter ever discussing anything he had spoken about with Fergie to anyone - a voluntary gagging order.
But even though our reporter refused to sign the document, cash-strapped Fergie still turned up and willingly chatted away.
At a discreet corner table the grinning Duchess - who was wearing a blue suit - immediately dragged her unsuspecting former husband into the negotiations by claiming: "I did ask Andrew about meeting you."
FERGIE: I never talk about money ever, but since we've got business hats on I'm going to...
REPORTER: Sure.
FERGIE: So I said to Andrew, well what do I do because really I think you two could really do some good business together and I think, I think what would happen is that you would. He never makes money because he's ambassador for trade.
REPORTER: Of course, sure.
FERGIE: So he wouldn't want to.
REPORTER: No of course, no, no.
FERGIE: But I can. So he would. . . introduce you to whoever, but it wouldn't be about HIM it would be about ME.
The Duke and Duchess of York divorced in 1996 but have remained close friends.
And as she tucked into her £12.50 pea soup accompanied by a £95 bottle of burgundy, she made it clear she was willing to try to exploit that closesness.
FERGIE: I could bring you great business. I'd like to think that if I, for example, if I introduced you to...
REPORTER: Andrew for example?
FERGIE: Andrew for example. . . and he opened up doors for you which you would never possibly do.
Then, depending if it was a very big deal with I don't know, I can't imagine, then each deal you and I discuss the percentage of it.
REPORTER: Absolutely.
FERGIE: And so that's what we would be doing.
REPORTER: That's absolutely clear, no problem whatsoever.
Fergie then insisted any such arrangement must be kept secret - even from the aides who had just left the restaurant.
And she proceeded to describe how she planned to manipulate her relationship with the Prince to her advantage behind his back.
FERGIE: Perhaps he might just mention to me some of the, you know. . .
REPORTER: Viable projects?
FERGIE: Some really interesting things which I might find interesting. And I'll look into them and maybe then they will ask me to find investments, in which case I might come to you.
At that point the Duchess made her totally unfounded allegation that Andrew suggested the £500,000 introduction fee. She assured our man it would be "a good investment".
As the £30 main course of lamb and vegetables arrived, attention turned to the $40,000 advance.
When told that the bundles of $20 notes were waiting for her at our man's apartment around the corner, she promised him a kiss on payment.
Throughout the dinner suspicious Fergie kept asking if our man was a reporter from the News of the World or another paper. But the thought of cash in hand proved more convincing than her fears.
At one point conversation moved to Fergie's daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. Beatrice recently became the first royal to complete the London marathon.
When our undercover reporter said he wished he'd sponsored her, greedy Fergie quipped: "No, you're sponsoring the mother!"
After our reporter picked up the £223.25 dinner bill plus £50 tip, Fergie happily jumped into the back of a limo with him - again carelessly risking her personal security - and was chauffeured to the Mayfair flat.
There she boasted about her privileged position and proclaimed: "I'm a complete aristocrat. Love that don't you? I love it. It's tremendously fabulous. But I've never admitted that to anyone by the way!" As she relaxed on the sofa with a glass of wine, Fergie asked our man to donate one per cent of profits from any business deals to her charity, set up to build schools in Asia.
But she soon remembered that charity begins at home.
FERGIE: Next! On to the next thing, £500,000, when you can, to me. . . open doors.
REPORTER: It would be Prince Andrew?
FERGIE: Yeah.
REPORTER: Is that a deal?
FERGIE: Yeah.
REPORTER: But I've got to give you $40,000.
FERGIE: Yeah.
REPORTER: Which I've got now as a deposit. Which is in my safe. But how am I going to give it to you? I haven't got a bag.
At that point the grinning Duchess made a silent "Gimme!" motion with her hand. She then accompanied our man into the next room, watched as he pulled out wads of crisp notes from the safe and carried them into the lounge, and then gasped: "Oh my God, you are a genius!" She said the money would go towards paying school fees for an old friend in the States. But as she stared at the pile of cash before her Fergie was prompted to get down to business again - and the outstanding £500,000.
FERGIE: Yeah OK but then if you want to go and do a big deal with Andrew, then that's the big one.
REPORTER: I do. Of course. OK, no, of course. So you need 500,000 in pounds. . .
FERGIE: But that's in wire transfer.
REPORTER: That has to be in wire transfer, I mean obviously.
FERGIE: That's a wire transfer that's completely above board. And that goes straight to wire transfer.
REPORTER: Who do we send that to?
FERGIE: You send it to the bank account that I tell you to send it to.
REPORTER: If you give me the bank account details I'll arrange that, no problem at all.
FERGIE: Then that, is then like, then you open up all the channels whatever you need, whatever you want, and then that's what and then you meet Andrew and that's fine. And that's, that's when you really open up whatever you want.
The Duchess then boasted of her special bond with Andrew. "He's so amazing," she said. "We're the happiest divorced couple in the world."
But then she stretched credulity by claiming her ex told her he'd happily play along with her cash-for-access plot.
FERGIE: And as Andrew said, 'Listen, if he's (our reporter) going to be kind enough to want to play, then Andrew will play.'
REPORTER: Let's play!
FERGIE: And he (Andrew) says, 'Let's play, we'll play' as long as it's nothing to do with him. . . But you will be his friend.
I will listen to the friendship talk between you two. And then I do it.
REPORTER: OK.
FERGIE: You two talk.
REPORTER: Right
FERGIE: I listen.
REPORTER: OK.
FERGIE: Then I activate. . . he meets the most amazing people. And he just throws them my way.
REPORTER: He throws them your way, fantastic. Well, and you throw them my way.
FERGIE: Yes. But, we, we, I've never said that. . . he never does accept a penny for anything. . .he does not and will not and he is completely whiter than white.

Are you kidding? Poor Andrew? Poor Fergie? The poor Queen? Everything they and their 'extended' families possess in wealth/property whoever they were and are currently have been given to them!(or should I say, stolen, or forced from their "subjects") Fergie surely also a disgrace, but as far as "class" goes, the so-called 'other' Royals just happen to be a little more practised in the game of 'appearance' and protocols, not because I believe any of them are exactly "lily white" and,by the way, whose ancestors merely became 'Royal' by utterly ruthless greed, domination, murder, self-proclamation, etc. etc. as NO ONE from the beginning of man on this earth was born with a crown on their head--"blue/royal blood"?? just something they simply made up themselves! Assembling sycophant armies to defend these power mongers to obtain/retain/maintain a grand lifestyle and/or to accumulate more land and the people that go with it taxes/slave labor) throughout the ages for God's sake! Sure they wanted to defend their "people" as they are their "cash cows!" And continue to to this day scamming the masses and holding themselves up as "betters" and worthy of bows and courtsies from the "plebes" and convincing you of the same crap so they keep, once again, their oh so fine lifestyles while many can't afford groceries! Gee, what a racket! How much more do they receive?---anyone else in this Royal bunch ever make any "deals?" Of course, not (?) wink, wink.

Part Three
Dearest Princess Sarah, Duchess of York, you aren't alone! Hold your head high! I live comfortably in poverty by choice, and love my life. Many Canadians do. As poor as many of us are, and I speak mostly for myself, would welcome an opportunity to help you, and leave the door to MY home, open to you at all times.
If you need a good friend, you've got one! I always have room in my heart for another friend, and perhaps I can introduce you to many others who will help you find peace of mind, and contentment. I am one who would be honoured to be your friend, and give you SANCTUARY, far away from the greedy vultures who have hounded you. There are many of us who know that you were tricked into "selling-your-soul"! Opera should have helped you by warning you of hidden cameras, in truth, she should never have allowed herself to be coerced into baiting you. I wonder how much she got paid for doing so! PLEASE Sarah, don't be sad. God is on your side, and so are we. Give someone a chance to help you. I strongly believe that Prince Andrew, still loves you. He would never let the beautiful daughters you gave him, think of him as the man who let their MOTHER down, at her strongest hour of need. NOT with money, but the love he still has for you, whether he admits this to himself, or not. Even the Queen has a deeply forgiving heart.
Hold your head up, Princess Sarah Ferguson Windsor! Many of us are praying for you!

Part Two
Please, I ask of all who read this, The Monarchy and the British Common-Wealth, is a major part of our history! Can we not look at what is genuinely happining? The Queen, has already lost so many members of Her beloved family. Arsenists claimed an important part of Her Family Home, The House of Windsor, Her beloved Queen Mother, Her Sister, and the very young misunderstood Princess Dianna, Mother of Our Future King of England, regardless of the horrifying insults hurled at Her. Queen Elizabeth continues to hold Her Head up, Because She was trained for many years to accept the Role of The Queen of England, the Head of the Anglican Church, and the head of The British Common Wealth! Our beloved Queen has tried so hard to understand us, Her people. She has tried even harder to understand the questionable behavior of Her Royal Sons, and Their chosen wives, who had NO training whatsoever how to conduct themselves as princesses of the Royal British Family.
By Madelaine2.. Posted June 24 2010 at 8:49 PM.
Part 1
How, as a Canadian, can all of you speak against the Royal Family, when we owe them so very much? If not for the British Monarchy, we would not be civilized, or have the choice to belong to the Anglican Church, of which the Queen Herself, is the Head. I am in my 50's too. I watched as two lovely young women (Lady Dianna Spencer Windsor and Sarah Ferguson Windsor) became the Royal wives to the two eldest Princes. Prince Andrew married and loved Sarah, knowing she was Dianna's best friend. These two new members of the the Royal Family, did fulfil their duty and had 2 children each. Not long after, their husbands paid them less and less attention, eventually leading to divorce for both Princesses. The Queen, already fulfilling Her many duties, became more and more horrified as She helplessly watched this nightmare become Her problem, one which only She could and did resolve, as quickly and quietly as possible. Dianna was killed, and Sarah, the rightful Duchess of York, fought to survive, the only way She could. Both of these former princesses suffered from life-threatening weight issues, due to untreated major depression. The Queen of England also suffered in many ways we will never know of, simply because She is our Queen, and duty comes first, always, and Her problems are NOT our business.

I still remember how HOT I thought Sarah Ferguson was at the time whe married Andrew.
Now I think she is still so HOT as to burn anyone's fingers touching her.

As a Canadian, I am sorry to hear that both Andrew and the Queen have forgiven the "aristocrat" known as Fergie. Failing to take action for such disgusting behavior says much about the Royal family as well. For the record, I don't believe for a minute that Airmiles Andy was not in on this little shake down. This would explain why Andy is not asking Fergie to leave his house, etc. At the very least, the Queen should remove her title, Duchess of York, and distance themselves from Fergie. Fergie can then return to her life as a commoner which she claims to so ardently desire. I do wish we could put an end to the monarchy once and for all...they could then feel free to do and say as they wish on their own dime.

what was she thinking?
opening up a royal to the risk of terrorism!!!!!
By mary esss.. Posted May 28 2010 at 11:21 AM.
First of all, you can't get rid of the royal family...you can remove the monarch as head of state but she will still be the Queen of England and Scotland, much the same way as a hereditary Duke is still a Duke, even though he no longer sits in the House of Lords. After all, there is still a Tsar of Russia and a Shah of Iran, despite what happened to the monarchies in those countries. Secondly, tax payer money is indeed used to pay the Royal family but this is an accounting exercise opted for by the government; in fact the deal since 1760 was that the monarchy was supposed to pay for itself from the Crown Estates (their personal property acquired over centuries) but they handed it over, in trust, to the government who could keep the income in return for an annual maintenance payment. Last year the total paid to the Monarchy via the Civil List was £8 million; the profit paid to the government from the Crown Estates was £200 million. By all means end the civil list and return the crown estates, the Queen could afford a royal yacht again and the tax payer would be 192 million pounds worse off. And dont start going on about how their property should belong to the people...unless you intend to put them against a cellar wall and steal all their belongings a la Russian Revolution style, their property belongs to them, even if it was seized by war in 1450 or whatever (or puchased in a private deal just like you purchased your house in the instance of Buckingham Palace, etc.).

I found a new respect for Fergie. It's about time someone put another nail in the royal coffin. It's just about funeral time for Cromwell's Acolytes ....
By Frank.. Posted May 26 2010 at 1:34 PM.
Tangible proof of being "regretful and "sincerely sorry" for ones actions, as Sarah, Duchess of York now proclaims, would be to return the $40,000 she accepted to the New of the World. Has that happened or is greedy Sarah keeping it? Also, does anyone see something inconsistent in pleading poor mouth and in the same breath saying at the time she accepted the money that it was going for school fees for a friend in the United States?

The money she has earned throughout the years is more than any of us will ever earn in a lifetime, more than my husband and I will earn together in our lifetime. Why is it that she is always broke and we have a home paid in full, no bills and a savings account?

WOW ... I guess it shouldn't be shocking in our cash-strapped world as to what people will do for money but I don't understand how anyone could offer up a family member for $$$ ... royal or no royal, Ms. Sarah's action here are lower than bottom-feeder low ... if she'd offered to pimp herself and leave out the rest of the family, at least it would have been more honorbale ... doesn't she have other opportunities to raise funds for herself? Her poor daughters, would Sarah have done this to them too? Damn, how embarrassing, and I'd be pretty livid if someone EVER thought of doing such a thing to me!

Who constitutes royalty? Isn't this a made-up dynasty? I am a Canadian citizen and would love to see the royal family gone. I am tired of paying taxes for a fairy tale. All you die hard royalty lovers can support them by yourselves and those of us who wish to separate from the monarchy should be given that opportunity.
What a fabulous life style they lead. Everything paid for, homage paid to those who simply to not deserve it.
Britain, get your head out of the sand and do away with them. I feel sorry for me and you.
Poor Fergie - wish I didn't have to go to work each day and could solicit money for my husband. Doesn't work that way in the real world.

Who would want to meet the Duke of York, since Diana died the Royals have been irrelevant and boring, I would not pay $5 to speak with any of them, let alone huge amounts of cash. Fergie needs to get a JOB like the rest of us, cause that is what she is,she aint royal no more. No money, but two assistants that the palace is not employing?

Apparently the Royals dispense meager allowances and alimony to their outcasts and divorced spouses, demonstrating their pettiness and vindictiveness...hardly worthy of the status and wealth they enjoy across generations for merely being born into the House of Windsor...such behavior exposes their only human flaws, and reinforces their humanity and exposes their lack of royalty, if ever there was such a thing except for those who achieve it by deed rather than birth...inevitably, the tarnished crown should be put into a drawer and be relegated in history to a phenomena that finally faded away in the 21st century of man.

There are lots of people like this in the world, my ex and his scheming wife have two chldcare homes they run as they call their business, they are using children to make money and his ex is going around proclaiming that she is now a milliionaire! whats the big deal I ask?

Paying for access is done all the time in the US government. It's called Lobbying. Paying a person for access to a congressman or Senator, Fergie was doing the same thing.

What a shame for Great Britain !
What an old stupid avid woman.
This disaster is devastating for the image of the UK people all over the world.

Those poor girls, In these circles it is very much about family respect and an expression "Look at the Mother" springs to mind! Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty, all out the window. I think it will be interesting to watch this all unfold. I am sorry for them.

The royal family should be more careful with the people around them, there is always a butler, a footman or some bright spark trying to make some money on them, but when it comes from family, a member with a royal title and as unpredictable as Sarah, they only open themselves to this type of scandals, she is used to live with wealthy possibilities and when the money runs out, she would do what she can to get, even if it means embarrassing the whole royal family and her own daughters.
By Nightwatchman.. Posted May 24 2010 at 12:44 PM.
As a Canadian Citizen this is just one more in a long list of reasons that Canadians should rise up and demand the British Monarchy no longer be in charge of Canada. Time to boot the monarchy and their decadent ways out of Canada once and for all!
By Canadian Citizen.. Posted May 24 2010 at 12:39 PM.
So many of your correspondents say that all Royals are the same. Can't they realise that Sarah Ferguson is NOT a Royal? And can't they realise that she has been an embarrassment to the royal family ever since her marriage? The Queen is worth every penny she is paid and it is sheer ignorance to accuse her of being less than than the very epitome of honesty and integrity.
By Ann .. Posted May 24 2010 at 11:38 AM.
Queen Elizabeth must see this clear as day, everything went to Hell when they started marrying non-royals.
Prince Wills & Kate are destined to destroy the regime.

The Royal family are Britains greatest asset fact.
By Darren Perks.. Posted May 24 2010 at 10:39 AM.
Looking at England from abroad it seems to me that England is fast building a reputation for itself as a nation full of morally corrupt individuals who will stop at nothing to make a buck, BP is doing a stellar job for England abroad, spilling oil for 30 days, well done England, you really have a lot to be proud of, i guess the USA should of just let the English fight the Germans on their own, Germany would of won and the English wouldn't have any Royals to worry about.
By Rod.. Posted May 24 2010 at 10:26 AM.
I'm starting to like Sarah Ferguson. She's my kind of shameless woman. She just needs to trim up her weight a little.
By Josey.. Posted May 24 2010 at 9:40 AM.
Shown up to be exactly what she is, manipulating, money grabbing and a liar.
If half the people in this country had her income they would be able to live quite extravagantly by normal standards, she still thinks and acts as if she is Royalty, what a waste of space as a person
The prince should dump her, and the children are old enough to fend for themselves and seem to be living as high a life as their mother at other peoples expense so quite capable really.
By gubfunckel.. Posted May 24 2010 at 9:15 AM.
I don't see what Fergie did is any different to the way business works.
Introducing business connections for a fee is just the way the world goes round.
I think it's entrepreneurial for her to do this - and good for British business if foreign investors want intro's to Prince Andrew.
Don't you have better things to do with your time - like investigating wasted tax payers money by Govt?
By david alexander.. Posted May 24 2010 at 7:53 AM.
Personally I think the Duchess was telling the truth, the whole time.
By Reggie.. Posted May 24 2010 at 7:26 AM.
She has access to so many influential and 'amazing' people as she herself states, but she has not managed to do any business or work through any of them??? This woman must be so dense.
Why was she not paid monthly alimony after her divorce so she is not constantly desperate for money? As a former royalty she can never have an ordinary life and this should be taken in consideration; she can't take a regular job as she stands in constant risk of being exploited. The royal family HAS to pay her alimony. I can't believe Andrew was that low that he left her penniless at the relentless hands of the press.
By Sarah.. Posted May 24 2010 at 4:44 AM.
What an embarrassing person. And how poor her body language is - pure white trash. But then, Brits are known for being the most devious and criminalized people in all of EU. So what's new?
By Ben.. Posted May 24 2010 at 4:40 AM.
Many of us in the U.S. view England as our mother country, yet we marvel at why you still have royalty.
There is something very wrong with the idea of someone acquiring wealth and status by birth. Sure we have our Kennedys but their status was obtained from their wealth and political ambition.
By Rick.. Posted May 24 2010 at 5:52 AM.
Not being British, I never quite "GOT" the royal family although I thought Princess "DI" and "Fergie" were pretty damn cute in the 80's. I'm their age so I kinda "grew up" with them in a paper doll kinda why. They influenced fashion (billowy dresses and flat pumps) and they were fun to read about in People Magazine. I'm glad my tax dollars do not pay for their "upkeep".
By sue.. Posted May 24 2010 at 5:19 AM.
The Britons are the most stupid people on this planet to keep supporting the royal family and for what? What the hell do they do to get paid millions of dollars annually from the tax payers money? Get rid of them once and for all! Let them earn their money like anybody else by working.
By kurnia.. Posted May 24 2010 at 5:11 AM.
The shame lies on people accepting to be treated like subjecs by this kind of parasites. And that's all there is to it. It's kind of like having an Stockholm Collective Syndrome with the so called "royalss".
By Cape.. Posted May 24 2010 at 3:16 AM.

By John Smith.. Posted May 24 2010 at 3:15 AM.
Im a total anti monarchist, - that being said, I have great respect for the Queen. For 50 years she has never put a foot wrong, worked hard and behaved with decorum and dignity. The Queen has always given the impression of being a modest and frugal woman, if we are to believe the stories of cornflakes in Tupperware and her wandering around Buck House turning off unwanted lights. Indeed, it has always amused me that herself and her mum enjoyed a tipple or two (or more) and had a keen interest in the gee gees!
But really, when she goes there has to be little hope for the Royal family. They are all a bunch of self serving, pampered, hypocritical, nutters who have no compunction about doing anything for a quick buck or a freebie.
Charles, the climate change Messiah but it doesnt stop him chartering the equivalent of the QE2 to cruise around the Caribbean, - because Camilla doesnt like flying. Or travelling to environmental conferences in planes packed with himself and his extensive entourage, no doubt to tell the rest of us that were destroying the planet with our annual trip to Spain. Surely there is something useful he could be doing whilst waiting to ascend the throne? His predecessor, the Duke of Windsor was very popular with ordinary folk and used to go down coal mines and visit impoverished areas, maybe if Charles visited a Ford factory occasionally rather than crying about the polar bears, his future subjects might have a little more time for him.
By Anji.. Posted May 24 2010 at 3:52 AM.
Finally, I dont believe a word of I only got £15,000 a year. No one with the debts she claimed to have when they separated would have settled for that. She frequently refers to her good relationship to the Queen. Well, I believe the Queen would have willingly given Fergie a home and a pension were this requested, if only to keep her quiet, - rather then have all this nonsense. I think huge wedges of cash have landed in Fergies pockets over the years, compliments of Andrew and/or the Queen, - ie you and me.
I reckon Andrew has been praying for years that shell meet some mug to take her off his hands because he has been subsidising her. I also believe that he also knew quite well what she was up to - selling invites to businessmen to become his friend. No skin off his nose, as she said herself, he meets them and throws them away. I have no doubt that would not have accepted a penny of these bribes, but in having his new friends pushing some cash in her direction, saved him having to dip into his own pocket.
So Fergie, I truly believe your actions will certainly make Andrews position of trade delegate impossible and the only honourable course he now has is to resign. I also believe that this is the final straw cause the demise of the Royal family after the present Queens death.
All I can say is Long live the Queen!!!!
By Anji.. Posted May 24 2010 at 3:50 AM.
She's got a big arse and IS a big arse. Enough of the royals, sell the lot to a theme park consortium.
By V.. Posted May 24 2010 at 2:14 AM.
Someone said it in an earlier post - both Princes William and Harry have to be so careful in choosing their future wife. The House of Windsor can't stand many more ex-wives problems. The future is secure with William and Harry in place - but the "wife" could cause ruin that couldn't be overcome at this point in history. This probably didn't help Kate at all - or at least in the coming months.
Fergie is definitely now out of any contact with the family - starting with where she will live is only the beginning. If she's in LA - she may stay out of the country for a while. Puts her girls in a terrible position. As a mother, she should have thought of them - if not Andrew and the Queen.
One thing in all this travesty - the Queen Mother didn't live to see this! Can you imagine her heartbreak!
By Regina.. Posted May 24 2010 at 1:38 AM.
There are no words, accepted into one of the most powerful families, then betraded husband and family who do you think you are. What a legacy you give you girls. They are the loser the girls who honour both parents and you betray them with your greed.
Stop think of others learn right from wrong. I hope you are asked leave your lodgings and then maybe you will face the true facts of live. A woman of 50 grow up and stand accountable for your actions.
By Sunshine.. Posted May 24 2010 at 12:59 AM.
Years ago, I met a guy who had to do some security for her, close, and said she was a complete and total bitch. I was blown away, always wondered if he was just saying stuff, this kind of cements it.
By Gil.. Posted May 24 2010 at 12:53 AM.
American men may have been stupid enough to date Fergie, but at least they weren't stupid enough to marry her. What a horrid woman. If Andrew doesn't toss her out immediately, his reputation will also suffer.
By Jillian.. Posted May 24 2010 at 12:39 AM.
If Fergie believed the so called 'businessman' was - a Banker - I'd give her a high five, except, she was incredibly, unbelievably stupid! She even asked if he were an undercover reporter, so the thought was there.
But seriously, no sympathy for her please. She lives a life most of us could only dream of and that sad comment about, being an Aristocrat! Please Sarah, get over yourself.
She has made some real hard cash and squanders it. She could have made an excellent and respectable career for herself and made her daughters proud of her. The opportunities were all there for her, she took the easy, greedy way out. The fact that other people do it and don't get caught, just doesn't cut it. Carry on exposing these wealthy greedy scavengers.

I have nothing but respect for Prince Andrew, who bravely defended his country during a time of war, and I have nothing but contempt for Fergie! I feel sorry for their daughters, with such a mother. I am American and have a great amount of respect for Her Majesty the Queen and your other royals, I see them do so much good work for charities. They cost MUCH less than the crooks we have as politicians here, and we can't even think about our President without counting the days 'til the next elections! I'd trade Obama for Queen Elizabeth any day! Fergie, you could never be one millionth the Lady the Queen is!
By Bernadette.. Posted May 23 2010 at 10:54 PM.

Ahh, an exercise of capitalism at its finest, lol...it's a shame she got busted, because this is common practice by most politicians in the USA and the only consequences they have to deal with is getting re-elected...we need more 'undercover' exposure all the way around and transparency of public figures...she should be more careful, LOL...cheers

Why did he marry this white trash? All she's done is embarrass
him and the family. This is terrible and she should be brought to justice for this! Who can also forget the topless pics of her boyfriend sucking her toes while still married to Andrew! She calls herself an aristocrat? You can't get more trash than this!
