IMMIGRATION officials raided a flight crammed with young South American women being trafficked as hookers, we can reveal.

The Paraguayans - some underage - were heading to Amsterdam via London from Brazil.

UK Border Agency staff nabbed them at Heathrow following a tip-off. One girl had allegedly swallowed packets of cocaine.

An insider said: "This flight appears to be just the tip of the iceberg."

The women were sent back to South America.

It is believed 150 sex workers have been smuggled through the UK already this year. A spokesman for UKBA said: "Investigations into the circumstances surrounding this group continue."
