Hi, I just stumbled upon this hopefully your actually still reading it. I'm a sex addict as well at least that what it is classified as... there is an answer and it has nothing to do with sex... I would love to talk to you about it.

Terri, i believe the 1st two people have said it all, all u need is God, He is the creator of heaven and earth. God said in Jeremiah 32:27- I am the God of all flesh is there anything too hard for me?, nothing is impossible for Him to do and He also said in Jeremiah 33:3 Call upon me and i will answer you and show you great and mighty things which you do not know. All power belong to Him but what He required of you is to give your life to Him and believe in Him that He can do it. God bless you

Hi terry, what you need is salvation that Jesus gives. Jesus has provided the oppurtunity for you to be saved, its simple, Jesus give over your circumstance to Him.

Firstly, i want to commend your courage for coming out to say you have a problem. You are 30% gone into finding solution by the mere fact that you know you have problem. However, as much as i believe in science, i dont think it's going to help you.

God created you and put the urge there in the first place. Therefore, only Him can take it away or regulate it. My solution for you is this:
1. Estabish a relationship with your God such that you can talk to Him like a father.
2. Fill yourself daily with His word and appropriate it to ur life.
3. Anytime the urge come, say these words out to urself over and over again until you beleive it: 'My body is a temple of God where Holy Ghost dwells. Devil get behind me because i'm more than conqueror thru Christ'

You can and will surely live a victorious life.

Hi Terri, try going back to the 12 step programme with accountability partners from your therapy group . It's going to be gruelling work and sometimes u r going to feel u r going backwards. The main thing is persistency and moving you away from the addiction in a stepped/stadial fashion. When the urges come on you need to call one of your accountability partners talk this through with them to give you support to forego the indulgence. Take up a new safe asexual hobby and transfer the passion of the urge into this. Recognise what triggers the urge and avoid the triggers or manage these so that you eventually control these. Avoid sites on the internet that will feed the addiction as well as places such as singles bars etc. Find groups of people with wholesome activities to join and share hobbies with. There are no short cuts i'm afraid only a road of persistent toil and application. Best of Luck. Tornadot7.

I hope this is a true story about Terri.I do believe that a lot of things happen to different people.Life is a paradox.Your situation is not easy to overcome because it appears like your problem is not satisfaction but urge.It is much easier if possible to be of any help with direct(face to face being best) communication.This state of affairs can be excrutiating at times.I cannot say 'I wish you luck' because it is cliche and cheap talk.If you discern help you can get in touch,it is up to you.

Terri even you feel that you should sex and you cant hold it. it is ok, but it should in savety way. While if you believe in God, it is better if you try to do religion activity such as fasting or other. But if You don't, you should find other thing that really make you interested beside sex. (of course it should be positive activity, such sport, write, or anything that make you comfort). It is ok when you still young do sex many times. but if you get older, it will be problem, because your healthy did not support anymore. So good luck with your teraphy..
