Another bird with fake tan

THIS is not just any fake tan - this is a Marks & Spencer fake tan for TURKEYS.

The store has launched a baste that bronzes them up a treat - after shoppers became browned off with pale birds.

M&S product developer Huw Mainwaring said: "We've dubbed it Fake Tan for Turkeys - but it's much easier to apply than real fake tan, you simply brush it on the bird while it's cooking. Everyone needs a good-looking bird."

The 99p Turkey Butter Baste has been so popular stores have already had to up their orders. Sales are a FIFTH higher in the Cheshire area - home to a legion of WAGs, famous for their love of 'real' fake tan.

The cost of Christmas groceries has fallen by a TENTH in a fortnight in a supermarket price war. Families will now pay just £69.29, down from £76.11, for goodies including turkey, veg and chocolates, says MySupermarket.co.uk.
