CHEF Paul Dunn has cooked up a novel way to use a mobile to organise a night out with the lads.

He sent it to us to be recycled, pocketed £122 and blew most of it down the pub with his mates.

"It wasn't very sensible - but it was fun," said Paul, 32, of Teddington, Middlesex, who was well impressed with what he got for his old Nokia N95 from our Go Green & Save campaign.

"The money came through within a week so it was really quick and easy," he added. We take your unwanted handsets and recondition them to help people in the Third World, or recycle them for spare parts.

So far we've sent cheques totalling £844,000 to participating readers, with mobiles worth up to £206 depending on the model.
