THIS picture of a simple handshake with Barack Obama at the White House has left US security chiefs "deeply concerned and embarrassed", they admitted last night.
It proves a woman gate-crasher really DID come face-to-face with the US President at a diplomatic reception, despite Secret Service attempts to play down the incident by denying that they met.
The picture, released by the White House, shows Obama greeting reality TV contestant Michaele Salahi, who pulled off the stunt with husband Tariq.
It is thought the couple, both in their 40s, sneaked into Tuesday's official reception for the Indian Prime Minister to boost their chances on TV show Real Housewives.
Security bosses now admit officers failed to check whether they were on the guest list.
