IT was the Ender the road for Ricky Groves on last night's Strictly - after a mistake-ridden tango saw him voted off.
The actor - who played mechanic Garry Hobbs in the BBC1 soap - lost the dance-off to Footballers' Wives star Laila Rouass.
All four of the judges opted to save her after failing to be impressed by Ricky's clumsy routine.
He and partner Erin Boag had finished at the bottom of the leaderboard, scoring just 22.
Head judge Len Goodman said he had danced "miles better" in the dance-off - but it wasn't enough to save him.
Craig Revel Horwood called the performance "sterile and mechanical".
But Ricky, 41, was gracious in defeat.
He said: "I'm not making excuses. I mucked up out there."
