The £30,000 sporty black C220 was a sitter as Wayne senior queued to pay.
Fuel-ish Wayne, 46, who had only had the motor for a month, gasped: "They've just robbed my car."
Waseem Hussain, 40, who was also paying for petrol at Tesco at 8am yesterday said: "I saw two lads wearing hoodies jump over a wall. They just got in his car and drove off. Wayne's dad stood in the shop in a state of shock.
"He told me he left the keys in the ignition and I told him he wouldn't be insured. He was proper shook up. He was shaking and getting red."
Waseem, 40, drove Wayne back to his £1million home in the Sandfield Park area.
Cops have asked for CCTV footage to view a replay. Merseyside Police said: "We hope to trace the offenders."

absoloutley no sympathy. Anyone who emphasisthes with this fool is also a fool. Its not a mistake to leave keys in at a petrol station, its an invitation. I always lock my car as i know its an easy option for them.

Like his son, Rooney Senior doesn't seem too bright. Never mind if he is not insured, Wayne can buy him another car afterall it will only cost him a quarter of a weeks wages.

Never mind, like your dad, you don't need brains to earn 170K each week so buy your dad a new one.

A fool and someone elses money are parted even sooner! What sort of idiot leaves their car unlocked and the keys in the ignition at a petrol station?
By Midas.. Posted November 22 2009 at 8:23 AM.
