The Spanx brand of the bulge-buster undies sell for £30 and have celeb fans such as Kimberley Walsh, Katie Holmes, Gwyneth Paltrow and Oprah. Lady Gaga likes them so much she wears them on the outside!
But on Thursday Aldi will offer similar miracle knickers for £2.99 - the cheapest on the high street.
The market in control pants has exploded in the UK, with 80 per cent of British women now owning a pair. Aldi's Seamless Control Briefs will be 84 per cent nylon and 16 per cent Lycra elastane, and are available in black and nude.
The material almost exactly matches the cult Spanx pants, which are 85 per cent nylon and 15 per cent Lycra.
Marks and Spencer sell Firm Control High Leg Briefs for £14, John Lewis sell Scala High Waist Briefs for £30 and Asda sell High Waisted Control Briefs for £6.
Aldi's undies will be sold on a first-come first served basis. So be quick or you'll get the bum's rush on Thursday, girls.
MODEL Sammie Hoy, 22, from Essex, gave us her verdict on the £2.99 control pants.
She said: "They hold you in quite well, and there are no knicker lines.
"I've worn more expensive ones and the Aldi pair don't have as much tummy control. But for £2.99 they're pretty good."
