The injured Manchester City striker hopes it will speed up the recovery of his broken ankle which refuses to heal.
Jacko was pictured sleeping in an oxygen chamber during the 80s. It was said he believing it would help him live to over 100 - and pet chimp Bubbes snuggled up beside him. Now team-mates of £160,000-a -week Brazilian Robhino jokingly call him Wacko Jacko.
A City source said: "The fracture wasn't healing as quickly as everyone had hoped, so Robbie and club thought they would give it a go. "He goes in with his headphones on, listens to his favourite tunes and tries to chill out. It's a bizarre sight seeing one of the best players in the world being blasted by pure oxygen.
"Some guys can't take the confined space. But Robbie will do anything to get back playing."
Breathing high levels of oxygen is said to help the blood move around the body more quickly, reducing recovery times by up to 20 per cent. The chamber is usually used by scuba divers when they suffer from the bends after rising to the surface too quickly.
Man United's Wayne Rooney tried it to heal his broken foot before the 2006 World Cup. He Jacked it in after a day, saying it was too noisy.
But Robinho vows he won't stop till he gets enough.
