A LORD'S claim that Britain faces coming under Islamic rule has been blasted as "alarmist" and "inaccurate".
In a sick rant, UK Independence Party peer Lord Pearson makes wild statements about the Muslim birth rate.
He said the UK was under threat because "the Muslims are breeding ten times faster than us". He added: "I don't know at what point they reach such a number we are no longer able to resist the rest of their demands.
"We must be looking at somewhere between 10 or 20 years. If we don't do something in the next year or two we have in effect lost." In the video interview posted on YouTube, the multi-millionaire went on to warn against the "growing threat of Islamism", rambling: "We have to make sure people understand the threat that faces us from violent Islam."
A Muslim Council of Britain spokesman hit back at the birth rate comment, saying: "It's inaccurate. The policy estimates have already been widely discredited. We would be concerned about this type of alarmist statement."
Lord Pearson - tipped to be next UKIP leader - last night stood by his comments, but insisted they were directed at fundamental Islamists.
He said: "One's talking about the violent end of the spectrum that's what one's worried about."

Seems a bit much that we are being forced into climate tax law & order state & at the same time have uncontrolled immigration that is forcing the population to explode. Doesn't seem to make any sense regards benefitting the nation but that is not their concern is it? Brown is only concerned about the global stage not little old England feeding itself!

The UK fertility rate is about 1.9 kids. He he saying that each Muslim woman has 19 kids??? Or as he backtracked and " insisted (his remarks)were directed at fundamental Islamists", only Islamic fundamentalist Muslims have 19 kids each.
Womb shattering nonsense.
I can't take UKIP seriously with characters like this leading it.

People have a right to be concerned about violent, extreme religion & politics but should not confuse them with everyone from that belief.
Fact Muslims are only 4.5% of the UK population! How can they can take over and rule this nation so quickly? and surely not ever Mulsim is a trouble maker?

She says she left Britain five years ago, so its OK for you to 'settle' in another country, but you dont like anyone of a different ethnicity or culture coming to the UK.....!

Hear Hear ! It's probably already too late. Thank god I left the UK 5 years ago. I rarely go back and when I do its very intimidating not being able to see someone's face, how the women can see to drive is beyond me - it can't be safe for either them or other road users.
In certain areas of Birmingham it's very, very frightening. What were once clean, well cared for streets and houses are now filthy, smelly ghetos. There are now so many of them that you feel like a stranger in your own country. Many areas are now no go places you wouldn't go even in broad daylight. Perhaps the worm is finally turning and common sense will prevail? Although I doubt it with this loony labour government namby pambying to them.

How many years have people voiced their opinions over this very subject of islam taking the country over.We can all see that asian families have more children than christian families and we can all see islam taking areas over in our cities.The common people see what is happening daily its the money people and politicians who are not bothered,they can live anywhere they want but we have to live in areas that are asian run and we feel locked into areas that are not christian because we have more mosques than churches.

Well what he is saying is completely true, the islamist are the only ones making demands that we change are countries rules to accommodate them.
As far as the MCB talking about birthrates being inaccurate, well why not provide some evidence. The fact is when pakistani/bangladeshi immigrants more often import a new bride or husband from asia rather than marrying a brit. Hence this is only going to get worse.
