Marlon King: The thug hit 2nd girl before trial

TWISTED Marlon King punched ANOTHER girl's face while he was on BAIL over Emily Carr's attack, the News of the World can reveal.

The thug lamped student Lauren Jones, 22, just two months ago, after sending her female pal a series of filthy text messages.

Last night Lauren said: "This man is an animal. I'm glad he is in jail, because he is a danger to women. I hope he rots."

Lauren's friend Lisa O'Connor, 21, first met King last May, in Crystal nightclub, central London. She thought he was single and gave him her phone number.

But in the weeks that followed he sent her explicit texts saying he was "super horny" and begging her for sex. The News of the World has seen his messages but they are too gross to print.

Lisa, a model from Haringey, North London, told us: "He seemed really nice initially. He was polite. I knew he was called Marlon and a successful footballer but not much else. Initially his texts were cool - just messing around. We even arranged he would come to my flat to chill out. I thought why not?

"He said he could come round because his family were away. I just thought he meant his parents - at the time I didn't realise he meant his wife and kids.

"But the messages got more and more sordid. When it became obvious he was just after sex I decided to ignore him. He rang but I avoided the call.

"Then I didn't hear from him again until me and Lauren bumped into him on that night he attacked us in September."

The two pals were partying at Maya, a club in Soho, when they spotted the footballer in dark clothes and black cap. He was drinking champagne with his pals, and called them over to their table.

The girls described King as "charming and flirtatious" - and he invited them back to his £1million mansion in Hertfordshire to watch a boxing match on TV.

But they got no further than the car park before King demonstrated his own terrifying fighting skills.

Lauren, a marketing student from Newport, South Wales, recalled: "He seemed like a really nice guy, and all his mates were lovely too, so we had no hesitation going back to his place. We thought it would be fun to continue the night.

"We had no idea who he was but we could tell he had a bit of money and - I'll be honest - they were all fit.

"When we got in the car we sat behind the driver but King asked if he could sit there instead for some reason. So we got out and made a little joke about why it was important for him to sit in that particular place. We weren't being serious and it was nothing to get angry about - but suddenly he switched and pushed Lisa.

"I asked him what he thought he was doing, and what was wrong, and completely out of the blue he punched me in the face with the base of his palm, knocking me backwards

"He hit me on the cheek near my nose and it really hurt - my eyes started stinging. He's a strong bloke and I'm a girl so for him to hit me that hard it was really painful.

"I was just in shock but Lisa started shouting at him."

Lisa then went on: "He had this evil kind of grin on his face. It looked like he didn't give a damn about anyone or what he did to them. It was like he'd warped into a monster.

"I started screaming at him. I said, how dare you hit a woman? I didn't think about him hitting me. I was so angry. Looking back - and knowing now what he is capable of - it could have ended up much worse."

One of King's pals ushered the girls away, and hinted this sort of thing had happened before.

Lauren recalled: 'He said. 'Girls trust me, take my advice, just leave for your own safety.' We walked away while Marlon was shouting at us to come back."

She and Lisa then tried to forget about the ugly incident - until they read of King's jailing last week.

Lauren said: "I was shocked but not surprised.

"I could completely imagine what he had done to that poor girl after what he did to me."
