Swinger Glitter's bad noose

Moment Gary Glitter is sentenced to death by HANGING for paedo crimes.

C'MON, C'MON, no cheering at the back. This is the moment Gary Glitter is sentenced to death by HANGING for his paedo crimes.

In reality the child porn perv is hiding away in the UK after serving three years in a Vietnam jail for child sex offences. But Channel 4 docu-drama The Execution of Gary Glitter will show a fictional account of him being tried for new crimes against Vietnamese girls.

And Glitter, 65, will pay the ultimate penalty. The final scenes show Glitter, played by Hilton McRae (above), with a hangman's noose around his neck. The programme follows a Channel 4 poll which reveals 70 per cent of Brits believe in capital punishment for the worst crimes. An insider said: "A lot of people in this country believe criminals like Glitter should be executed."

The Execution of Gary Glitter is on Channel 4, 9pm, Monday, Nov 9.

What will change with this film? Nothing! It will continue to be people like this glitter. Like the three monkeys. See nothing, hear nothing and say nothing. Oh, thank you for the press, the freedom to write anything. And do nothing.
How sick is our humanity anyway?

What a load of crap! Will people really watch this? I wont. Really couldn't care less. GG forever!

Haven't seen the programme yet, but people like him should be hanged. As for the rightgeous few who think it is sick showing the programme I wonder how they would feel if it was a relative of them he harmed, I know he is one of many who do this type of thing but the little girls in poorer countries that you don't know are worth just as much as the little girls you do know. They are not put on this earth to be some sick perverts plaything. I agree it is a shame its fiction.

i hope they give gary some royalties for using his name. I'm not sure who is sicker, gary for what he did, the people who have the odasity to make such a program using a real life person in a ficticious role or the sick viewers who are so full of hate and blood lust that they would actually watch this sort of garbage. I really wonder what England is becoming these days.

I agree with the death penalty for certain crimes, but how many innocent people have been convicted, then released when further evidence comes to light. there are too amny convictions on so called expert evidence. an error cannot be rectified after death. Life sentences should be for life with no parole, and prison made harder, not the holiday camps they are today

I love the way people have little trust in the government, little faith in the police & even less in lawyers - yet are happy to give them the power to kill people.
Even DNA and modern forensic techniques are not infallible, despite what many seem to believe.

I can empathise with people who have lost a loved one due to crime, but how many of you can really imagine how it would be to lose one by a mistake? And mistakes happen.
The cost of keeping someone banged up for a proper sentence (& I mean proper) is the cost of protecting OUR human rights, not the criminals.

there are plenty of people like glitter living in thailand, vietnam, cambodia, the police are finally cracking down and arresting them, some are let go because money talks in theses countries, they pay of the families, then they are straight back on the streets. I have the same feelings as Mido, hang them or let them rot in a jail in southeast asia.

Hanging would be too good for the sick pervert.I live in south east asia and these weirdos prey on the poorest people.I hope he rots in hell.
