FIRST it was Prezza . . . now Mandy is making his marque as Westminster's "Two Jags".
Angry government drivers have given Lord Mandelson the nickname after he fixed it so he has use of a pair of the flash motors.
Changes that limit hours mean chauffeur-driven cars are no longer at the disposal of ministers after 5pm. Instead they can call a car from a central pool.
But Mandelson, who this week took delivery of a new XJS Jaguar to add to the three-year-old Jag he already uses, has made sure the two cars - along with two drivers - are at his beck and call.
An insider told us: "Once the driver finishes at 5pm he goes home and the minister's office has access to the green car service. They are only supposed to book a car when the minister actually needs it, but Mandy's office is block-booking the car so it is available only to him. It sits waiting so it is just like having his allocated car as before."
News of the arrangement comes as Mandy leads government calls for Britain to tighten its belt to tackle the massive budget deficit. And he has spent recent days urging striking postal workers to accept the reality of cost cutting to save the Royal Mail.
Last night a spokesman for his Department for Business Innovation and Skills said: "Lord Mandelson's main driver finishes at 5pm.
Like other ministers, he uses another car after that. Lord Mandelson uses a Jaguar as that second car. As the cabinet minister responsible for the automotive sector it is right that he supports great British car makers like Jaguar Land Rover."

who the heck cares, UK modern government doesn't care about what british people think or do, they are like Mogabe administration, not even Bush. They don't listen to people, they have their own Cabinet which does whatever it does - being in denial for YEARS! Whatever it does it has nothing to do with what actually Brits say, they don't care, people suffer, "Government" has no dignity.
