It is absolutely terrible what has happened but I think most people here don't truly care about children as the paedophile thing is the latest paranoia to sweep across nations. Most people's thinking hasn't radically changed in fifty years so where were all this anti paedo sentiment in the past? Why only in the last fifteen years has this become such an issue. I would suggest it is media provoked and a great way to increase snooping on citizens as this is so much easier when the enemy is within.

12.000 kids die every night in the sick world in which we live and Britain and the USA help contribute to both in the nature of weapons sold overseas and economic policies which the poor suffer from.

Of course the abuse of children is horrific but so are the car drivers who kill and maim hundreds of kids a year and which is a far greater abuse of children than sexual abuse - I mean in terms of the numbers afflicted.

I think any abuse of children is tragic but we live in a society that condones or is silent to an abuse of children which has has caused the death and suffering of children globally on a scale far far exceeding genocides. In fact I would say the suffering of children and the poor is the greatest unspoken holocaust and persistent holocaust of humanity. Sort of makes a bit of child abuse pale into insignificance.

one of the sickest stories i have ever heard in my whole life. i hope the parents find out if it was their children who were abused or not and i hope that andrew and his girls will someday be able to move on from this, to some degree, though something like this, i would imagine, would stay with them the rest of their lives.

i hope that andrew and his two daughters can get over this terrible mess. I went through a simular thing with my daughter 12 yrs ago, but the police dropped the charges because it was a 7 yr old against an adult who was a friend of my ex partner, it was only later that i found out that she had been having an affair with the abuser. but my ex went and told everone it was me, for which i have been in the recieving end of no end of abuse. I still have not got over what happened to my daughter i have recieved help but you never truly get over it, the guilt i feel for not noticing the signs and what he did to her will haunt me to my dying day

its time that we got our priritys right it seems to me that if you pinch money no mtter the amount it usually warants a greater prison sentence than some sadistic pig who prays on young children the fact that a childs life has been ruined for ever as i can assure you you never forget seems immiterial and alight sentence punishment should fit the crime firstly casteration surgical not drug induced ,second a good lenth sentence minimum of 10 years thirdly once releaced no annonimity and left totheir own devices and if the are smacked about a bit well so beit the rapist or pedophile has relinquishe any human rights as he or she will not have had any thought about others rights. if you notice human rights are usually demanded by those who have never had any thoughts for the rights of others and of corse worse of all is those leaches who make thousands tryng to get these animals all the rights that the victim is denied

What else annoys me about this case is the hypocrasy of our government talking on about making 'cuts' in public services, etc.. But Hey presto! Money seems to magically appear to help out scum who aren't fit to live. Why? Because our government are afraid to stand up to political correctness and the interfering 'Eurocrats' who bang on about so-called 'human rights!'

I sympathise whole-heartedly with the parents of these poor children. To entrust your child into the care of others, only to see that trust shattered is a terrible thing. "It will never happen to me". But it can. I lived with a man for 10 years without realising that he was systematically preying on my daughters. When he realised the eldest was too strong a person, he then picked on the younger one who is disabled. Despite several credible witnesses he was found not guilty after 18 months of investigations. Despite the fact the police and everyone else involved believed my daughters. For him the story stops here - for myself and my daughters it doesnt end. They live the nightmare daily.
I hope Mr George and his daughters can rise above this nightmare. It takes a lot of determination and strength of character. I hope they will get there.

You have no idea what its like to wake up and find out you're married to one of these monsters. "How could he/she not have known?" people scream from the roof tops. i'm going to suggest how absolutely weak and self-serving this woman was. i can never imagine a woman doing this sort of thing. it is so counter-intuitive. she choose to over-ride the morality of this situation and decided to "go for it". there's no way her acts were sexually driven. what drove her to this was her sexual attraction and animalistic desire to be desired by the other woman and the predatorial male. 30 children puts her in the bracket of the most heinous of criminals / child molesters. that should be how her sentence is prescribed.

These vile bits of excrement should be put in prison for LIFE with the recomendation that they serve at least until they come out in a wooden box.
Why should they ever be allowed to know freedom again.
The poor victims will never know that again, they have destroyed their childhood.
Personally I think it's about time the goverment listened to the overwhelming opinion from the public that the death penalty reinstated.

What an awful thing to discuss, whether or not this poor family were paid or not?!
For goodness sake can people in the UK not comprehend the trauma this poor man and his daughters are going through and will be going through for the rest of their lives?! have a shred of decency yourselves and shame on those who have questioned whether or not they were paid!! They have NOT 'gained' anything at all, they have LOST every aspect of what they thought was the truth for their whole lives!!!!! imagine finding this out about any of YOUR family - let alone your wife / mother!!

I commend the fact they have stood up for themselves, they are victims of the vile being that committed these crimes and their whole lives have been turned upside down. Did they have a choice in that? NO! I'm not surprised he came out with his story. You know how people are saying no smoke without fire etc. He has to put his side of the story showing him and his daughters are innocent otherwise people will forever be pointing the fingerl. It is time the law is changed, and the abusers have less rights. This family are also victims of an evil woman. I sincerely hope the judge who is responsible for the sentencing is reading this and taking on board the confidence this vile parasite has on her sentencing - four years and out in two - i think this is the ideal opportunity to let British Justice seen to be truly done around the world - she should get at least 30 years. The cynic within me wonders whether they'd have told their 'heartfelt' story if they weren't getting paid.

The police are very good at following up crimes when they involve sex or drugs, but have no interest when it comes to white collar crimes committed by 'respectable' members of society.

How terrible for them to find out that the wife and mother they thought they knew is a monster , but from my own experience, having been married for almost 3 decades when my husband left to live with someone he met on the internet, I wonder if you can ever truly know anyone.
I hope they will all be able to move on, given time, and have the happy lives they all deserve.

Her and her sister are as much victims of this awful woman as the children she abused as is her husband. I for one hope they WERE paid as they will need all the help they can get to rebuild their lives, while this vile woman will be protected at our expense when she comes out of prison because of the idiocy of the pc human right brigade. Whether he was paid or not (and nobody has said he was) he and the girls are also victims lets not forget that they have lost their mum - not much of a loss but they have still lost her and he has lost the wife he loved. They he have had to go from 2 incomes to 1 and because of the stigma attached they are going to probably have to move which is expensive as people are always going to make assumptions.
I think he and his girls are very brave to be photographed as they could have just hidden away but they didn't as they have nothing to hide I would like to wish them all the best for the future.

I do feel for this man and his daughters, I am from Plymouth and know the effect this has had on the community and felt it was wrong the husband and daughters had to move out of their home due to vigilantes. They obviously did not know their wife and mother was so sick and depraved, I don't think anyone would truely have thought this woman was capable of these horrific crimes. Hope things work out for Mr George and his daughters whilst fingers crossed she gets life..most of all thoughts are with the children and their families.
