MEET the world's most intelligent porn star - stunning university graduate AJ Bailey.

The blonde beauty has an anthropology degree and studied art at St Andrews - the top Scottish uni that Prince William attended.

Yet AJ, who grew up in America's Bible Belt and spends her leisure time reading Tolstoy and Oscar Wilde, has turned her back on studying to become a blue movie actress.

Shockingly, she now beds boys AND girls on camera to make ends meet during to the global recession.

She insists that she loves her work - but admits she has been shunned by well-heeled boyfriends who are repelled by her what she does.

AJ, 29, started her career when she found herself needing £20k to pay for relocation costs after winning a place on a year long Masters course at St Andrews.

The beauty already held a bachelors degree in Anthropology.

She explained: "After my degree I realised that for me to achieve my dream of becoming a museum curator I needed to study at St Andrews. But after I was accepted I knew I had to raise money fast or I wouldn't be able to afford my place.

"I was working for a call centre at Missouri University, but that was not making me enough money at all.

"I took some loans, but when the exchange rate went bad for the dollar I knew I needed around £8,000.

"I always liked porno and frequented loads of girl on girl websites. At that stage in my life I was very much into dating girls, so lesbians interested me.

"On one site I saw a couple of hot girls making out, and underneath was an advert for models.

"I just thought I'd give it a go so I did some pictures in my apartment which were amateur, including a couple in a Manchester United football shirt as it was the only top my pal had."

Although she dabbled in porn before going to St Andrews, she didn't do any while she was actually studying there - and got a part-time job as a pot washer instead.

She said: "Prince William finished his degree just before I arrived in Scotland, but many people from his course were in my class - and they were all his friends.

"At the start of my course I just kept my head down and worked away, but soon after my first major photoshoot for Hustler came out. I got it delivered to my resident halls and soon everyone in college knew about it. I was the talk of the university.

"I'm sure William would have known as his old pals knew about it all - and how often do people attend an MBA course with a porn model."

After AJ passed her masters she found herself unemployed and did a few lesbian photoshoots. She was spotted by top US adult firm Vivid Entertainment, who offered her an exclusive contract worth £125,000 a year. The beauty has now filmed two movies.

She added: "I am just enjoying doing what I'm doing at the moment while I am still hot. These are the first films where I have sex with a man, and it was so great.

"I do want to end up in museums and using my education, but you've got to pay the bills. I just don't think I'm ready to sit behind a desk yet."

She chuckled: "It's tough getting a boyfriend now. Before I used to date lawyers and doctors, but now they are funny about what I do for a living.

"It was okay when I was just with girls on camera, but now that I have sex with guys it seems to be a problem."

AJ - who works in Los Angeles but keeps a home in Texas - added: "I don't have a TV or the internet at my home. If I want to look something up online I have to drive to the library.

"I am ploughing my way through Anna Karenina by Leonard Tolstoy. I usually read two books at a go to mix up my mind and keep it fresh. My other book at the moment is Oscar Wilde's Picture Of Dorian Gray.

"I quite like being called the world's brainiest porn star, but it is a cliché that all porn stars are airheads."
