£9.7m HOUSE DEAL FOR ANTHEA

£9.7m house deal for Anthea | Anthea Turner and Grant Bovey
PAY DAY: For Anthea

HARD-UP Anthea Turner and Grant Bovey have sold their Surrey mansion to a Russian billionaire who is on Interpol's wanted list.

Mobile phone magnate Evgeny Chichvarkin, 34, has bought the 57-acre Barbins Grange for £9.7 million, giving the former TV golden girl and her husband a £7.1million profit on the home they paid £2.6 million for in 1999.

The couple, whose property businesses crashed in the credit crunch, have downsized to a four-bedroom property nearby.

Eccentric Chichvarkin, who has a crazy mullet haircut and dresses in red, yellow and orange, sold his mobile phone business to another Russian billionaire in November for £250million cash.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in Moscow in January.

He had fallen out with the authorities over a tax bill.

How nice for them to have some money to be able to buy someone a little more to their taste. Personally i think they should pay off their bills they owe and move into a council house. That would suit them nicely Anthea can then maybe learn to live within her meagre means like the rest of us do.
There is a house comming up in our road if she's intrerested, it's not much and it's a rough area but at least it's a place called home.

Will they be paying back some of their creditors out of this profit? Nah, thought not.
